An autumn staple…
Recently I got in to incense… or maybe that should say I rediscovered incense. I went through a stage in my teens where I burnt it constantly, but with luxury candles so often taking over every surface in my home, the scented sticks were put on the back-burner.
Rarely does a day pass now where I don’t light a stick of incense. I find it so calming and I love that it fills my home with such a dreamy scent (I adore !) but I have to admit it is a little on the messy side. Even with a rather large incense tray, I find I still get the dust everywhere! Enter incense cones…
Last year Jord bought me – a small brass holder with a box of scented cones to burn. Less mess but still that same calming scent, and a mesmerising star-printer holder to sit atop my coffee table too.
I tend to burn but I think I’ll treat myself to the sandalwood scent next. There’s just something so special about tidying the flat on the weekend and settling down with a glass of wine while incense fills the room!
