The Serum That Changed My Mind On Serums.

serum1

As much as I adore skincare – and I mean adore in the sense that every surface of my bathroom is covered in lotions and potions – I’ve never really been a serum kinda girl!
I love oils, I love exfoliating treatments, skin mists and elixirs, but never really serums.

I was introduced to the Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Supplement when I was in New York a couple of months ago, the brand gave me an adorbs sample size that I basically coated myself in.
My skin always feels slightly parched – as in, it’s lacking in hydration and looks a little bit lacklustre. I’m forever searching for something to quench my complexion, something instantly relieving but never rich or tacky on application. I think I may have found it in this…

serum2

The serum is super light, sinking in to the skin instantly – which is exactly what I like. I’m an impatient thing, I don’t have the attention span to wait for my serum to absorb!
What probably hooked me from first use though, is how this instantly makes my skin feel so incredibly soft and pampered! I’m a sucker for anything that shows results straight away so I was immediately smitten with this creamy fluid.

All in all, it’s a great all-round treatment for perking up the complexion and helping to quench the skin. I’ve said before that I have a hard time with dehydration lines on my forehead occasionally, but regularly using such a light, hydrating skin treat has done wonders!

I’m now fully converted to Bobbi Brown skincare! Anything else I should try? The whole range, you say? Consider it done.
Have you tried this?

  • Never tried that one! But for cold and dreary winter days and nights I like their vitamin enrichted face cream. Very nice!

  • It sounds like a beautiful serum – especially for the colder seasons coming up!

  • Serum is actually my biggest weakness when it comes to skincare, but I can understand why so many people aren’t really into them: it doesn’t really impact the way the skin looks, at least not in the short term, but more on the way it feels! This one sounds lovely and it could be a great way to start using some Bobbi Brown skincare!

  • I love serums personally think they are so good for giving you that radiant glow in the mornings I rarely wear make up these days so they are pretty much the only thing keeping my skin alive haha! xx

I’ve never tried serums before but I do love using oils in the evening to leave on overnight. I feel like I’m really pampering my skin by doing it. Will have to try a serum at some point though.

You should definitely try the extra repair treatment lotion! It’s actually a toner and again really fast absorbing! I’m the same with dehydrated skin and this has done wonderful things for my skin! Something I was recommended to try with it as well is mix it with an oil and the treatment lotion makes the oil sink in quicker and deeper in the skin so helps with the texture of dehydration on the skin, definitely worth a go ??
