A few new home additions
It’s no secret that Anthropologie is one of my favourite stores, I’d happily spend all my money in there if it came to it!
Thankfully, we don’t have a store here in Glasgow so that limits me (only slightly!), but I made an online order before Christmas, and then I popped in to the Edinburgh shop last week for a few more pieces. Treat yo’self!
My Christmas order consisted of a few finds for the table, I’d never hosted Christmas before (I mean, this year I only catered for my husband and brother – but still an important job!) so I really wanted some adorable napkins, plates and glasses for the table. Obviously I went for a pink theme and the boys LOVED IT. I am wasted on them.
I found these Suite One Studio plates whilst browsing the new in section last month and I swooped in and added them to my basket straight away. I’ve been a fan of SOS for so long so I was super pleased to find these – I haven’t been brave enough to risk a direct order from the brand since they ship from the US, but thankfully Anthro came to the rescue.
I paired the plates with the much loved gold monogrammed glasses, which I used as place-settings on the day. If you don’t already own these glasses, you need them! They’re the best size for filling with ice and covering with your cocktail of choice. Also juice but it’s never as fun.
I’ve wanted these for years but Jordan and I have a running joke that every single time we go in to the store, the K glass is out of stock. This has been going on for years… so in the end I ordered online!
I originally bought these marbled pink napkins (now in the sale, typical!), which I had on the table on Christmas day. They’re quite unique (aka ~out there), but incorporate some of my favourite homeware trends so of course in the basket they went.
When we were in the store earlier this month, I spied these peachy gold printed napkins in the sale so I ended up buying them up too. You can never have too many napkins… probably.
My favourite find was this Paris Pen Pot, because obviously it’s January and I ran straight to the stationery section! I already have a mug that works as a pen pot, but this was too cute not to pick up – so now it sits on my office cabinet holding random lipsticks and hand creams. Isn’t it just the most beaut find?
A few more random purchases included this oh so cute gold foil cat card, which was the perfect addition to my wire display that sits above my desk.
I also found this absolutely pointless but very grammable little milk jug. I always say drinking tea or coffee should be a leisurely activity sometimes, so now I can drag it out even longer.
It’s been a good month for shopping, let me tell you! It’s about time I removed the Anthropologie ‘New In’ link from my bookmarks bar I think.
