Stocking Up On Summer Shoes.

Sponsored content.

I know you might not believe this, but up until recently I really wasn’t a shoe person! Bags – yes, makeup – absolutely, but never really shoes. Anyway, this all changed when I realised how much easier (and fun!) it was to put outfits together when your feet were looking fly!

Now you can’t move for shoes in our house! They seem to line every skirting board and fill entire cupboards, and my new shoe-session doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon…

I’ve once again teamed up with CollectPlus, this time to celebrate Office Shoes signing up to my favourite click and collect service! Now you can drop shoes ’til you drop, but with the added bonus of being able to order them to a location that’s convenient to you.

I love, love, love online shopping but I don’t love waiting in all day for deliveries, or being disturbed by the doorbell every hour as I try to work, so I usually send most of my packages to my local newsagents and collect them when I’m ready! Easy peasy.

When Office and CollectPlus asked me pick a few favourite pairs from the site, I didn’t realise quite what a summery selection I had lined up until I collected the boxes (shoutout to my husband for helping me carry them home!) and excitedly ripped them open as soon as we were in the door!
Allow me to introduce each and every pair…

The Stand-In Wedding Shoes
Funnily enough, this pair in the top picture were my ’round two’ wedding shoes. We had a party to celebrate our elopement earlier this month, and I wanted a pair of heels that looked beautiful but were still perfect for dancing in!
These arrived the day of the party and I was smiiten – they’re almost identical to my wedding day Jimmy Choos, except with a smaller, chunkier heel.
I’d rate these a solid 8.5 on the comfy scale, I didn’t even ditch them on the dance floor!

The ‘All Occasions’ Heels
Okay so I definitely have a type when it comes to my footwear! But I’m going to let you in on a little secret… ankle straps are the way forward. Not only do they make walking in heels a million times easier, they also work wonders for lengthening the legs. Trust me on this one.
I picked out these oh so chic Henna Block Heels in the most dreamy nude hue – they’re the most perfect ‘will go with absolutely every outfit you own’ addition to my shoe stash.

The other pair I picked were these undeniably gorgeous Hazel sandals, I don’t own any other black heeled strappy shoes like these and I’ve already planned entire outfits around them!
I plan to wear ’em with skinny jeans and a white lace blouse for date nights, or maybe even with one of the many floral dresses I have filling up my wardrobe right now.

The Simple Mules
I really didn’t have myself down as a mule kinda gal, but they’ve taken over my wardrobe this season.
These simple grey suedette shoes are my weekend and workday favourites – they literally go with everything.
Over the weekend I wore them with a red midi dress, then again this week I paired them with raw hem blue jeans and a coral jumper. So easy to style!

The Everyday Espadrilles
Espadrilles will always be my shoe of choice, they just look so effortless and stylish!
These nude suede cuties have barely left my feet, I find myself slipping them on daily.
I usually pair them with jeans, a striped top of some sort, and maybe a blush denim jacket or a white cardigan – summer dressing at its simplest!

So I’m probably sorted for shoes for a while… what do you think of my picks?
Have you used CollectPlus before?
