I’m not sure this post needed so many photos of me, but hey, when ya feelin’ yourself, make the most of it! The sun has been shining lately (mostly, anyway), which gives me a chance to actually get outdoors, wear some real clothes, take some photos, be a queen.
I have some serious bikini top tan lines at the moment (not something I should ever complain about, but here we are), but my obsession with bardot tops is definitely helping to tone down those pesky white patches on my shoulders!
I recently found this polka dot top in Topshop and immediately added it to my basket – it’s everything I’ve wanted from an easy everyday ‘throw on and go’ top! It’s floaty, it’s flattering, it goes with 90% of my wardrobe… I’m in love!
I never thought I’d be back in a denim skirt again, that seemed like a trend I was ready to say goodbye to in the 00’s, but I’m embracing the relaxed vibe!
This is a H&M find and I love it, the raw hem is a nice little update to what could be a bit of an outdated piece.
I paired it with my bag of them moment, the Cult Gaia Ark Bag, and a pair of pink mules… making it the most effortless ensemble EVER.
I’ve got a couple of trips coming up so I’m planning outfits like crazy, and there’s so many ways to mix this outfit up – swapping out the top for something floral, wearing a blush midi skirt instead of denim for a bit more of an evening get-up. Or just wearing flats and a different bag for more of a ‘I’m going to be on my feet all day’ ensemble. Easy peasy!
My simple gold chain is from Rock n Rose, and it’s the perfect addition to any outfit that features a low neckline. I wear it with every bardot top I own!
If the weather could just stay this way for a liiiiittle bit longer, I’d be one happy lady! I can’t imagine my bamboo bag is going to be much good when it’s pissing it down.
What do you think of the bardot trend?
