My Spring Makeup Swaps.

While I’ve never been one to opt for a bold look when it comes to my makeup, I definitely tone it down even more so when the months get warmer. I’m not someone who suits heavy makeup (which sounds great, but is in actual fact, rather dull!) but it’s an excuse to go a bit overboard with the bronzer…

NARS Smooth And Protect Primer; Seeing this out of stock on so many sites is making me very, very nervous! This smoothing, protecting primer became a staple for me after just one use. It completely transforms the complexion, refining the skin and smoothing over lumps and bumps, even helping with redness.
Of course, there’s also the SPF 50 in there! I wear SPF 30 in my moisturiser anyway, but having this on top just makes me feel at ease.
I really recommend this primer, whether you’re fussed about the protecting properties or not – the mattifying effect is a game-changer.

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation; My favourite summery base is back out, ready to be used (probably) daily throughout the coming months.
This fluid foundation is my one true love, it just works miracles for me! I love the way it conceals and boosts my skin with very little effort, it looks so natural but really perfects.
I’ve used this for a while now and I always come back to it, it’s just a dream to use and the light formulation really does the trick in warm weather.

NYX Away We Glow Highlighter in Moonbeam; Another recent find for me, this creamy highlighter has had me feeling a million times happier in my skin. I’ve had compliment after compliment since adding this in to my routine!
The light cream blends perfectly, adding the most mesmerising hint of radiance – I sweep it over cheekbones, then tap the excess on to brow bones, Cupid’s Bow and down my nose. Dreamy stuff.

By Terry Sun Designer Palette; If you keep up with my vlogs, you’ll know I was delighted (understatement) to receive this gorge pick! I’ve never really been a big fan of blush palettes, but this changes everything.
First up, the almost creamy texture of the products means application is like no other – seriously, these are basically like butter! Except they’re powder. Yup.
Then there’s the combination of shades – I have both palettes and I adore them. They both offer a bit of everything; complexion-boosting colour, a golden highlighter and a sunkissed bronzer that flatters my complexion like no other. Something to pop on your wishlist!

Topshop Smoke Stick; Don’t let the name of this cutie put you off, I’m not a smokey-eye kinda gal but I love these creamy sticks. Realm is a seriously gorgeous champagne shimmer, it can be swept over lids or worked in to the corner of the eyes for a hint of highlight. I love it, it’s very versatile and makes a big difference to my overall look.

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise Cream Shadow; This cream shadow in Jean is my go-to in summer, I love the warm shimmery hue. Again, it looks great swept over lids and when used to highlight – I find it brings out my blue eyes perfectly.
I love opting for nude shimmery hues in summer, I think they make my eyes look so bright and awakened!

My makeup bag is filled with fun finds for the warmer months! What do you think of my swaps?
