If I had to pick a skincare item I’m most drawn to, it would probably be cleanser. My bathroom shelves are lined with balms, oils, gels, foams and creams, all formulated to remove my makeup and leave my skin feeling lush.
With this in mind, I’m pretty picky when it comes to the product itself. I’m a double-cleanse convert so I like to use something that’ll remove my makeup, and then follow it up with a cream or light balm that will deep cleanse my complexion. It’s been a mission to find a duo that ticks all the boxes!
The was basically music to my ears – Caroline and I seem to be on the same level when it comes to skincare, so I had a feeling that this would be the ideal product for my cleansing conundrum!

The Double Cleanse contains two purifying cleansers to remove makeup and impurities, and leave skin feeling nourished and super supple. On the left side, there’s the Solid Cleansing Oil, a light, buttery balm that melts on contact with the skin. It melts away makeup and removes the day with very little effort. It’s a dream come true for lazy gals like me!
The second side is a Cleansing Cream, a very light formula that works to get rid of any traces of makeup and grime left on the face. It’s oh so easy to massage in, and even easier to wipe away with a damp face cloth when you’re done.
I couldn’t imagine a more perfect pairing; I usually struggle with balms because they make my eyes (and skin!) all glassy and tacky after use, so it takes a special formulation to work with my tricky peepers.
It really makes such an effortless job of removing makeup, and my complexion looks purified and radiant after use.
The price point is spot on too – £24 for two products – and Caroline mentioned on Twitter that she would be releasing individual pots of the products too.
This is really all you need to get happy, healthy skin in just a few minutes. No excuses for not removing your makeup after a late night…
Have you heard of the Double Cleanse?
