Fragrance Favourites For Spring.

26/04/17

I managed to really streamline my fragrance collection a couple of months back, although I’ve since noticed that it’s slowly been expanding again! Declutter round two coming right up!
I’ve got a small collection of daily fragrances that I can’t get enough of, now the seasons are changing and my winter favourites just aren’t cutting it anymore.

; Swedish brand Byredo entered my life early last year, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’m terribly picky when it comes to fragrances, but every release from Byredo seems to speak to me. My latest love is the unnamed fragrance, a unisex blend of pink pepper, gin and evergreen that translates as a luxe musky floral. It’s such a sexy, slightly peppery combination that seems to soften on my skin as the day wears on.
As for the name, you actually get letters to name the scent yourself but I’ve never come up with anything!

; This find fast became a favourite of mine, it was love at first spritz! I’m a huge Diptyque fan, so I guess it was a given I would obsess over such a fresh, floral concoction.
This is quite a sophisticated floral scent I think, there’s something about it that seems quite grown up… anyway, it’s delicious. Think blackcurrants, freshly cut grass, rose petals, the scent of spring bottled up. Give it a sniff when you’re next in store!

; I know that I’m taunting you with this, as Wild Fig & Cassis was (devastatingly!) discontinued by the brand… but it’ll always be a favourite of mine.
I’ve become hooked on this lately, I think because I always wear it at this time of year so it’s like a little hit of nostalgia. Fig scents are just exquisite, aren’t they?

; I wasn’t a huge fan of the original Molecule 01 scent, but I was gifted 03 and was instantly drawn to the musky notes of vetiver – I adore vetiver, it just smells so gorgeous and interesting to me!
This is quite sharp at first, but I find it does settle down in to more of a floral scent. If you love vetiver, this is the one for you! It’s nice layered with sweeter scents too.

Quite the lineup of spring picks! Have you tried any of these?
