A Few Of My Favourite Bags…

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved handbags – they’re just the easiest way to bring an outfit to life, and there’s so many designs and colours and textures. It’s easy to shop them on a budget, or lust over more luxe pieces…

In the last year or so, I’ve found my style a bit more, and become comfortable with buying key pieces that are going to last me. All the bags I own now are ones that I think I’ll cherish for a long time, which makes me feel a whole lot better about the price tag!

My favourite currently are cross-body bags – and I never thought I’d say this, but the smaller the better! I think having a bag that simply fits the essentials looks a lot more chic than a massive tote bag.
My first purchase that sold me on these bags was the , this was quite a bold purchase since it’s white but I adore it. It’s striking with a vintage twist – and probably my most worn bag.
Similarly, the is also one of my most used. It holds just the right amount, and is so durable for long-lasting wear.

As for slightly larger everyday bags, I love the Mansur Gavriel Bucket Bags. I first purchased (), and I got the for my birthday. Both are timeless, incredibly beautiful and go with everything!

I’ve also, like most, got a serious love for all things Chloe! I bought the Drew Nano () in a dreamy grey hue, with the brightest gold hardware – this was a sale find and I was over the moon as I had been after it for a while. I love the size, it’s the perfect evening bag.

I also have the – when I say I’ve wanted this forever, I mean I first clocked it when it was released some years ago, and I’ve been obsessed with the idea of owning it ever since. It holds my 12inch Macbook, so it’s my usual choice for nipping out to work or travelling to London, but I find excuses to wear it often.

To complete my luxe list, I have a couple of dreamy Saint Laurent picks too. The first is the Monogram Medium Kate in the most perfect pop of pink – I don’t usually get ‘new bag nerves’ but this seems too beaut to take out. It’s my favourite possession for sure.
I also have an everyday YSL Dylan bag in black, I use this so often as it’s the best size. Classic bags like this never get old to me.

I’m incredibly lucky to have quite a collection of bags that I love and use regularly! I probably won’t be adding to this lot any time soon (unless I feel like I can part with the cash for a Chanel Boy… maybe after the wedding!).

Are you a bag lover too?
