I forget how much I adore autumn until it’s here; in the lead-up, all I can cast my mind back to is soggy leaves, constant drizzle and cold, dark evenings… but really, I live for the sun-drenched days and golden leaves!
We’ve been making the most of the crisp mornings by exploring Glasgow, and this time we headed west for a look along Byres Road.
I wore one of my favourite outfits at the moment; this , along with my – this is so flattering and the navy shade goes with everything! I’m after , as I know it’ll get a lot of wear. Well worth a purchase if you’re feeling the whole pleated skirt trend right now.
I’ve also been wearing last year’s ASOS Velvet Boots () everyday lately, they’re the perfect mix of being incredibly comfy and really chic.
I finished it off with a camel coat () and , isn’t she a beaut?!
The white and gold detailing looks so dreamy, and I love that it can squeeze in the essentials.
We checked out Oliver Bonas for new autumn homewares, then headed to Dumpling Monkey for pot stickers and bubble tea. If you haven’t been here yet, I really recommend it – so warming and delicious.
I stopped in at Blooms on Dumbarton Road and bought so many plants they had to be delivered – including a cactus almost as tall as me. This is my favourite florist/plant shop as they have such a great variety. If you’re ever near, pick up a Burro’s Tail and one of the little cacti they have. So adorable!
Our last stop was For Fika Sake, a cute Scandi-inspired coffee shop just off Dumbarton Road. I love it in here as it’s just so comforting. Simon does amazing coffee in colourful cups, and there’s even a record player if you fancy being DJ for the afternoon.
Also, the brownies looked next level.
Another lovely jaunt to the west end – I don’t mind leaving the Southside if the weather is nice… and also if there’s good food.
Have you taken a trip to Glasgow’s west end?
