I have to be honest with you… I don’t love applying hair masks. I love the results – soft, swishy hair? Yes please! But the whole ‘washing my hair over the bath’ effort, waiting twenty minutes and then repeating the whole palaver. Not my fave thing to do.
Luckily for me, I’ve found three masks that make the whole ordeal so worthwhile. These three masks are my favourite finds in the hair mask stakes, and they’re more than worthy of their own little roundup. Allow me to introduce you…
; Oh, how I do love Aesop! I was first smitten with their skincare, then fell furiously in love with their body products, before finally realising they kill it at hair products too! This mask is honestly a dream come true for parched tresses, the nourishing treatment works in just fifteen minutes and leaves both scalp and hair feeling fresh.
It really does work wonders, my hair always feels unreal after use – it keeps my bleached ends feeling silky and cared for.
; Another brand I’ve become quickly obsessed with is Australian haircare brand Original Mineral. I’ve tried a few products already, and I’m yet to be disappointed. One stand-out product is this heavenly-scented hair mask, designed to hydrate and smooth frizzy, damaged and coloured hair in one quick application.
I love this as it works brilliantly applied quickly in the shower (two minutes is all it needs!) or left on for a more intense hit of nourishment! I usually leave this on after I’ve used purple shampoo in my hair, as the results are always fabulous!
; Of course, I had to feature this little lovely in here somewhere. I’ve been using this stuff since I started blogging (it came in a Boudoir Prive box – before they were Birchbox!) and I still always make sure I have a bottle in my stash. Another beautifully scented product, this ensures hair is always smooth, shiny and healthy.
It works in five minutes, though I usually leave it on for longer, and it really does help to care for damaged hair. A must have, for sure!
Note: this is a sample size, the actual size is 250ml.
