It’s not often that a mascara comes along that is so great, it deserves its own post! I tend to stick to my trust ol’ Clinique favourite when it comes to lashes, but I think I may have finally found one that beats even that…
is a recent release, and one that I fell for on first use. I don’t think I’ve ever had so many compliments on my lashes before – in fact, I was hanging out at Pinterest HQ in San Francisco recently and one of the girls, upon asking me what mascara I was wearing, pinned it straight away to buy later!
The brush is excellent, combing the lashes up and out – I do have good length when it comes to my lashes, but they’re not exactly very curled. I can curl ’em (and believe me, I do – daily!) but they tend to loose that volume if the mascara weighs them down. The thing about the Masquara Gain is that is incredibly lightweight, adding colour, curl and body without dragging them down. It’s a bit of a miracle worker, if you ask me.

I think another thing that sets this apart from the rest is that it grabs and coats each individual lash, so the eye area looks awakened and brighter – and lashes look so thick and full!
I really do think this ticks all of the boxes when it comes to the perfect lash-lifter.
What’s more, the ingredients contain an active from walnut, which is a natural dye to slowly tint the lashes over time. I’ve actually not really looked at my lashes enough to notice this – but it seems to be adding definition like no other so I’m going to say it’s working!
I’ve never been more impressed with a mascara before – it adds curl, definition, tint, volume, body AND it doesn’t smudge off during the day. It stays clump-free even after a good few layers, and yet it’s easy to remove. A wonder worker for sure.
Will you be giving this a whirl?
