I’ve been promising a tour of my office for so long now, you guys have probably given up! I’m almost ready to give you a full tour, but I thought I’d show a few highlights until then…
I like to keep this room very white, mainly because I find it’s light and happy to work in, but it also makes taking blog photos so easy – they always come out so lovely and bright! I’d love to have a pink or maybe patterned wall in here, but I doubt I could ever decide on something I’d like long enough.
My desk is quite simple, I have a Block wire mesh board behind it with a few bits and bobs attached, along with a Dowsing & Reynolds lamp. I try and keep my workspace quite clear so I can get on with work, but I do find that it’s all too easy to keep putting cute trinkets and vases of flowers on top! Although I couldn’t resist adding in my cute skull cactus planter – how cool?
The wire K letter is from Oliver Bonas, one of my favourite stores for finding cute home accessories. This was actually copper at one point, but I painted it gold to fit the room. That’s the kind of person I am, okay?
The K print is from EYI Love, a Glasgow-based store that I highly recommend checking out – especially if you like marble and metallics.
On the opposite side of the wall sit some IKEA Alex drawers, which are filled with makeup and accessories! I pretty much have a drawer for everything over here – from sunglasses to Essie polishes, and even haircare. Organising these drawers is one of my favourite things to do… I should probably be more embarrassed to admit that, huh?
Also in the room is my beautiful West Elm Mid-Century desk, in the most incredible shade of mint green. I use this as a dressing table, and I’ve provided only a sneak peek for you in this post as I’m waiting to put my new mirror up. All will be revealed soon!
Finally, cabinets line the far wall – these hold most of the shop stock, and also a few of my own bits and bobs. It’s so handy to have this storage space, it really keeps the space clean and tidy.
Look out for a full tour coming soon!
