Packing for a hot holiday is my absolute favourite – mainly because I don’t usually have a need for shorts, bikinis and beachy hair products. It’s just so different from my usual everyday staples, so I always look forward to the packing process!
I spent about three weeks searching for the right bikini, as I, like most, have one of those shapes where the top of me isn’t anywhere near the same size as the bottom half! Saying that, I ended up trying on this Boohoo bikini, and I was so impressed with how flattering it is. It’s not too booby for someone with a rather large chest, and the bottoms are pretty slimming too. If only I could find more of this shape…
I also picked up these cute ASOS striped shorts in my holiday hunt, and I fell in love instantly. I just love anything with a cute tassel, and the simple grey and white strips are so effortless.
I found this New Look top to go with them, a simple design that can be pretty much worn with anything.
The sunglasses are both Ray-Bans, and they seem to be the kind of style to suit just about every face shape. Seen at the top are the Ray-Ban 3447 Round Sunglasses, a style I’ve seen everywhere lately – even an old man in town was rocking them the other day! The bottom pair are the Ray-Ban 2180 sunglasses, which I absolutely love as a simple everyday style!
Along with my favourite Topshop headscarf, and these cute and comfy New Look sandals, I’m pretty much set!
As for beauty, I always pack the Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Defence as my everyday face SPF – this has a bit of a tint so it’s super perfecting, and not too greasy. I also took the Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted Moisturiser; it’s not often I wear makeup on holiday, but this is just so light and easy to apply that I packed it just in case.
I also have the TIGI Beach Bound spray to protect my hair, which has been working wonders – no more crispy, dry locks!
Finally, my trusty Canon EOS M10 came along with me! I’m totally obsessing over this camera right now, I’m getting some awesome snaps from the trip.
Are you a good holiday packer?
