On my bedside…
I have to be honest with you, my bedside table is more often than not, overly cluttered. Jordan makes jokes about how many glasses of water you’ll find dotted next to my bed, and there’s usually a full evening beauty routine piled alongside my hydration station.
If you don’t already have a mini evening routine sitting on your bedside, this is your sign to do just that. The products may change, but the formula doesn’t – hand cream, face mist, lip balm, body lotion & foot cream.
Add in the not-so-glamorous essentials like a (possibly stolen) pint glass of water, a nail file and emergency painkillers for midnight cramps and you have yourself quite the setup!
*; I’m a huge fan of Summer Fridays as a brand, I think their aesthetic is on point (in that it makes me want to move to Malibu and do yoga on the beach) and the products are really impressive. This body lotion is exactly what I expected from the brand; a luxurious whipped lotion that smells like the seaside and summer holidays. The coconut scent is subtle but much appreciated, and the formula applies beautifully to damp or dry skin. I’m a big, big fan.
; I’m more of a balm-in-a-stick kind of gal, but I can absolutely get behind this overnight, super softening lip mask. It feels gorgeous to apply (and instantly soothing to slather on if you’ve ever woken up in the night desperate for lip balm!), and really does make a difference come morning. I see why it has cult status.
*; A treat for skin whether it be last thing at night, first thing in the morning or throughout the day (highly recommend for hangovers, also!)
A fine mist that quenches skin, reduces redness and instantly cools. I kept this by my bed during summer nights, and I loved it so much that it now has a place in my routine now the weather is cooler too.
*; Of course, it wouldn’t be a bedside edit without this staple! I just associate this with calm now, whether or not the ingredients have an affect on sleep (and I do believe they do!), this just relaxes me so much I have no choice but to fall in to a lovely deep slumber.
; I’ve been keeping this tube going by using it sparingly, but I’m not sure how much longer I’ll last! A heavenly scent, a lovely non-greasy formula and packaging that is absolutely insta-worthy, you can’t go wrong with Byredo!
; I only ever apply foot cream at bedtime, ideally alongside fresh sheets and clean PJs! It’s a sunday night staple that I won’t ever be without. I’ve never met a Beauty Pie product I haven’t loved, but this is rated especially highly by me.
