My Spring Beauty Edit.

A seasonal makeup shakeup…

I know I tend to play it safe when it comes to my everyday make up, but I love to try new products and give my routines a seasonal reshuffle, especially for spring when I tend to embrace dewy skin and pops of pastel so much more! I just love experimenting with new products, and I feel like I’ve got such a beaut routine on the go right now.

Stila Cosmetics Convertible Colour
This Stila creamy blusher is my number one companion for a rosy springtime glow, which I am all about right now! It melts into my skin and blends perfectly for the most flattering flush – I find that some creamy blushers can be quite waxy, but the texture of this one is so lovely and dewy. I wore this throughout my trip to Venice and I felt like my makeup was poppin’ everyday, especially in that sweet sweet sunlight!

Wander Beauty Catch The Light Highlighter in Sun
This miracle highlighter gives off such an amazing golden glow, literally mimicking the sun during those golden-hour moments. I always prefer warmer toned highlighters, they look so much more natural and really boost my complexion, and this is one I always seem to go back to. The small-sized tube means I can effortlessly glide this over my cheekbones and cupids bow for an instant just-had-a-facial glow. Divine!

Estée Lauder The Illuminator Radiant Perfecting Primer + Finisher
I’ve been a long-time fan of this little wonder-worker – I literally don’t think I could go back to the days where I just flung on foundation sans primer! One quick application gives that lit-from-within look and baby soft base, perfect for perking up your complexion and giving makeup an overall more polished finish!

Bobbi Brown Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation SPF15
This foundation is one I recommend to everyone, it’s just such a perfect ‘do all’ product that works for all skin types and all seasons! It blends effortlessly and provides incredible long-lasting coverage, I find it so reliable because I can sweep it on first thing and my skin stays fresh and perfected all day long. Plus, the shade range is so diverse so you’re guaranteed to find your perfect match.

Glossier Lidstar in Moon
I think probably anything with the word ‘Moon’ in it instantly appeals to me! I am here for glow-inducing makeup, as you can probably tell by this lil roundup.
This Glossier magic stick is one I reach for on lazy days as it provides such a fast-fix of shimmer on the lids – it gives me a much-needed, non-overbearing pop of heavenly eye sparkle, which is exactly what I aim for as an everyday look. When I’m feeling a little extra, I occasionally even pop a little on my cheekbones too. A multi-tasker, if you will!

Nars Skin Deep Eye Palette Limited Edition
I’ve been on the look out for a really great neutral palette for a while now, and this one ticks all the barely-there boxes for me. There’s a good mix of textures, shades and shimmers which compliment one another so well and literally glide on like a dream – I always say NARS eyeshadow palettes are some of the best because you get so much use out of them!
I’ve been using this a lot lately and I love how easy it is to build on a look, it’s a great day to night palette too.

Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara
I’ve definitely been through my fair share of mascaras over the years but this one stands out by a mile, I think I’ve repurchased it so so many times since I first tried it. It’s one of the only waterproof varieties that won’t compromise on volume or lash separation, promising thick, full fan-like lashes with every use. Me love!

How will you be switching up your beauty look for Spring? Have you tried any of these products?

  • Stila’s convertible colours look so nice! And that palette is gorgeous! I might try to swatch it at Sephora!

    Wishing you all the best,

    • I think it’s important to try before you buy for sure, unfortunately not everything works for everyone. Happy shopping, I wish we had a Sephora in Scotland! x

  • I’ve become so boring when it comes to my makeup. I like to keep it super natural, simple and fresh. One thing I have been loving and will only love even more come warmer days is the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood flawless filter. I love the glow it gives my skin and I’m all about dewy skin for Spring and Summer. Also, very peachy cheeks!

    • Hey Juliana, I know how you feel! I found myself getting very repetitive. I think the rubbish weather had a lot to do with it! Oh that does sounds dreamy and am a big C Tilbs fan! I must give it a try and thank you for the recommendation. x

  • Sarah

I’m the kind of person who waits like 3 years to try things after everyone else gets excited for them, but after months of putting it in my cart, removing it, and obsessively googling swatches I think I’m close to actually getting Slip 🙂 .

p.s. Have you ever tried the Tata Harper cream blushes? They are SO pricy, but I think I might be able to justify it because they have skincare benefits and a seriously dewey finish.

    • What a journey, and a really exciting time! Congrats on taking the leap! I’ve not no, I must try next time I’m shopping. Thanks for the recommendation! x

  • Oh, definitely need to try the Bobbi Brown mascara <3 🙂 And I really love all of these great picks – they're perfect for spring!

  • Bernadette

I definitely need to get into more cream products, I’ve wanted to for so long but I always lean more towards powder. The stila colour converter looks pretty.

    • I do like to mix it up with some powders on the eyelids and under eye to conceal and set my make up. Yes, it is so lovely I would recommend it to ease you in to creams as it is subtle and not too overpowering! x

  • I’ve always heard great things about the Stila blushes, maybe I need to add one to my wish list!

    Lucy | Forever September

    • You won’t regret it Lucy! Thanks for the comment. x

  • Flo la vita

The Estee Lauder illuminator looks amazing! I’ll have to try it xx

    • Go for it! It’s the perfect skin brightener for those dull days! x
