Beauty Beauty Edits Makeup

The MUJI Top Drawer.

An edit of the best beauty bits…

For the longest time, I’ve kept a couple of sets of MUJI acrylic drawers on top of my dressing table; I like that they add a bit of height, but mainly I like that I can quickly reach for my favourite finds of the moment. It’s become like an edit of my most-used, and I try to switch it up often so I’m always trying something new.

My picks at the moment are definitely very wintery, I’ve got primers for brightening, glow-inducing foundations, creamy blushers and sparkly shadows left over from the party season. It’s a bit of a mixed bag, to be quite honest!

A couple of new complexion-perfectors I’m loving right now; the new Charlotte Tilbury Brightening Youth Glow along with the Clinique Even Better Glow Foundation. I don’t know about you lot, but I’m looking pasty this month! A radiance-boosting primer along with a perk-me-up-quick foundation is exactly what I need right now.

I seem to be back in to my cream blushers at the moment, and I’ve been getting a lot of use out of the Glossier Cloud Paints and the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge Cream Blushers – both of which I have in a variety of colours, and would recommend to everyone! They offer such a natural, dewy flush that is flattering throughout the seasons.

I have to give a shout-out to my much-loved Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette, which has definitely seen a lot of use! I always pack them when I’m travelling because it has everything I’ll ever need, but I also use it often when I’m home too.
The shadows are beautiful, and the blusher/highlighter/bronzer trio are all I need for a fresh-faced look.

My most favourite product of them all is the Bobbi Brown Rich Sparkle Shadows, which I’ve talked about a lot lately so I’m going to be brief. If you can hunt down Sun Flare, or even the Heat Ray Luxe Shadow, you absolutely must treat yourself!

A few other bits I’m reaching for a lot include the Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder, which is a must for me as I have a moon face, and the new Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tints. I love the subtle sparkle, and the way they’re so easy to slick on while you’re doing the rest of your makeup.

A few other favourites…

I don’t really keep skincare in here, but I have been using the Pixi Rose Caviar Essence on days where my skin needs a boost. This feels so fresh on the skin and it seems to make a difference to my complexion. I also just love the scent, so lovely in the mornings!

I’ve been really feeling my makeup routine lately, and it’s got a lot to do with this little line-up!
Do you switch out your makeup favourites regularly? What do you think of my stash?
