Festive gifting with Cath Kidston…
Sponsored content.
At the end of last month, just as things were starting to get super Christmassy, I was invited to Edinburgh for a festive shopping trip at the new Cath Kidston store at 99 Princes Street.
As a long time lover of their pretty printed accessories and extra soft PJs, I instantly RSVP’d. I caught an early train to Edinburgh (always the most magical city at this time of year!) for a morning of shopping at the shiny new store.
Of course, the shop is beyond beautiful! From the pastel exterior to the mesmerising window displays, and the pretty impressive view of the castle, it’s a must see if you’re in the city.
We were chauffeured around in branded Cath Kidston taxis for the morning, and they’re available until the 22nd December if you’re hitting up Edinburgh this month!
The plan was to pick up a few gifts for Christmas presents, but I did manage to treat myself too – you may have already spied me wearing my new Hot Air Balloon pyjama bottoms, they’re very “me”! The ultra soft flannel material is a dream on chilly mornings, too.
I may have also bought the matching Hot Air Balloon bed socks – I mean, how could I resist?! I’m the queen of comfort.
My favourite find was this beautiful little Kew Sprig travel mug! Admittedly, I am definitely going to be keeping this for myself – sorry, I am truly terrible at this whole present buying thing! – but I can imagine it’ll see a lot of use throughout the wintery months.
I was overjoyed when I spied the candle collection on display, I’m not sure I even knew Cath Kidston did candles! The Fig & Vanilla candle was my favourite, so fruity and delicious, it almost smells edible. Candles always make lovely Christmas gifts, they’re a necessity for me throughout the wintery months, so I always hope for a few under the tree each year.
The Earl Grey candle comes beautiful packaged and smells so unique, I can imagine this would smell beautiful burning over Christmas.
Candles make the very best gifts!
Iconic prints and pretty presents!
The print that stood out the most too me, however, was their iconic Guards print – I got this seriously cute hand cream (oh my goshhhh, someone hold me) and the matching mug. What can I say? I have never met a colourful mug I didn’t like.
I have grand plans to gift this little range to my sister in law because I know she will love them as much as me, but if you see them on my Instagram in January… just know I tried to part with them!
If you’re yet to finish your Christmas shopping (I don’t blame ya), there’s many beautiful finds waiting for you at Cath Kidston!
I highly recommend a visit to your local store (or you know… a trip to Edinburgh) if you want a fuss-free shopping trip. They have your pretty pressies sorted!
What do you think of my festive finds?
