Our trip to New York was a busy one – you know, getting married in secret and all that, more time consuming than you would think – but I still made sure to squeeze in a bit of beauty shopping. It wouldn’t be a trip away without having a small panic about how I was going to zip up my suitcase, now would it?
My Glossier Showroom experience earned its very own post, but I also picked up a few other bits – I had a little shopping list of things I needed to restock, but otherwise I didn’t go too crazy!
Kristin Ess Haircare
I think if I could be anyone for even just a day, it would be Kristin Ess. I love everything she does, and I’ve followed her religiously for years! I’m not even that interested in hair, but everything she does is pure perfection.
Anyway, she released a line of blush and gold packaged hair products in to Target and I had been dreaming of them since she even hinted at the release!
The Target I went to only had a small selection, but I managed to get the , which smells like my favourite perfume and leaves my hair shiny and swish, and the . Kristin is the queen of effortless waves, so I had to get some of this to add texture to my fine hair. I’m already obsessed with it!
I ran out of this suddenly a while ago and I almost had a small meltdown, it’s one of my favourite products as it actually perks up and hydrates the skin. I usually find face mists just make your skin feel tight and sticky, but Tatcha’s offering really works wonders!
It’s super hydrating, gives skin a quenching pick-me-up, and leaves the complexion G-L-O-W-I-N-G. I recommend this little bottle to anyone, it’s just the thing for parched, dull or dehydrated skin.
Another product I unexpectedly ran out of was this bottle of radiance drops from the Sephora brand. I add a drop or two of these in to every foundation I wear, they add the most swoon-worthy glow to the skin! I never really bother with fiddly products like this but the difference in my overall complexion is unreal, so now I make sure I’m never without them.
I didn’t pack dry shampoo, so when I spied this adorable blush can I just had to have it! I’ve never tried IGK before but their haircare products looked wonderful.
True to their world, this is the first dry shampoo that really is invisible! I was seriously impressed, and I’ve made a mental note to try more from the brand when I head back to the states next!
Have you tried any of these? What do you always restock when you’re in Sephora?
