I’ve had more than a few questions on my daily makeup routine lately *head doubles in size*, so I thought I’d do a little rundown on my everyday favourites. I’m a bit of creature of habit, so once I’m happy with my routine, I usually keep it as it is until I need to restock!
; I really had my reservations about Glossier, because I’m always quite cynical when it comes to super hyped products… but wow, I’m eating my words (is that the expression??) right now. Their products are nothing short of exceptional.
This moisturiser really grew on me, I thought it was way too light for my parched skin when I first used it, but it’s actually quite customisable in terms of hydration. If you only need a quick slick of moisturiser, you’re good to go. Need a little extra quenchiness? LAYER IT UP.
Honestly you guys, you need Glossier in your life. I’m obsessed.
; Another brand that I simply cannot fault is Charlotte T. This Wonderglow illuminating primer is an absolute everyday staple for me, it’s just supermodel skin in a tube.
I sweep it all over as a quick step between moisturiser and foundation, and it always preps my skin and ensures any imperfections are blurred. A wonder product for an even, glowing complexion.
: I recently discovered an old bottle of Sheer Glow in my dressing table and gave it a whirl. I was AMAZED, my skin looked… unreal. I actually think this is my absolute favourite foundation at the moment, it’s so dewy and perfecting. Ugh, I adore it.
I find the coverage amazing – I have bad dark scars from acne on my cheeks and chin and this conceals all, whilst also giving my skin the freshest finish ever. Love.
; This is a recent addition for me, and a product I’d always heard so much about! The GinZing tinted moisturiser/VitaZings base is still one of my favourite products, so of course I was always going to love the eye cream version!
This brightens, plumps and nourishes the delicate eye area, acting like skincare and makeup in one. It makes a big difference to eyes, giving them that freshly awakened look in one quick application. Love!
; Another new addition for me is this SPF, something I spied on the Cult Beauty New In section and had to have!
This has raised the bar for SPFs, it’s a protecting moisturiser that hydrates and gives skin a dewy finish (with none of that suncream slicky-ness) whilst also encouraging cell turnover – meaning skin always looks its best. It’s a new kind of suncream, and one I can definitely get behind!
; This palette! I mean… just look at it. It’s incredible, the perfect pairing of shades to create the most flawless glow.
I have both shades of the Sun Designer palette and I can’t recommend them enough. The warm, bronze-y tones are perfect for anyone who loves that perky summer glow, and I love the way the blend together seamlessly to create such an even flush. Perfect for sweeping on to cheeks for an instant holiday hit.
; Similarly, I usually up the bronze a little with this Hourglass number. This is so light and blendable on the skin, so I find it’s almost impossible to go wrong with – meaning the result is only bronzed beauty and never muddy mess!
; I rarely see the point in using high end mascaras when there’s just so many budget alternatives available. I’m currently crushing on this Maybelline wonder – it’s a dream come true for anyone who loves lengthened, curled lashes.
The brush means you can get right in there and grab every hair, and the formula doesn’t seem to smudge either – always a plus if you ask me!
My makeup bag is positively brimming with winning finds at the moment – have you tried any of these?
