Remember I made that promise to myself to wear jewellery more often? Yeah, that was weird… but I’ve actually managed it! I mean, getting engaged and married in the space of six months definitely helped, as I have a couple of shiny new rings stacked on my finger, but I’ve also slowly moved away from cheap jewellery that turns my fingers green. Woo!
These days my jewellery collection is pretty enviable, mostly high street picks but definitely pieces I’ll hold on to for as long as possible.
One day I went through my jewellery box and threw away anything tangled, faded, broken or ugly (there was a lot of that) until I just had a few favourite accessories left. I felt like a new person!
One of my favourite places to , they always have a great selection in and the quality is usually impressive too. I only ever wear gold jewellery (never ever silver) and I find their edit of the warm tones never lets me down.
Right now I’m – I’m not sure where the obsession came from, but I’m basically Pat Butcher – and I found a great selection of lovely gold and pastel picks.
When I was in Urban Outfitters recently, I found – something I had been looking for forever!
Naturally I had to pick up a few sets of rings and earrings when I was in as well! Their jewellery line has definitely got a lot better since I last looked. How cute are I found?
The only other places I really shop for everyday accessories are ASOS and Rock’N’Rose. I found recently and it’s quickly become a favourite of mine.
Rock’N’Rose also do some of my most loved necklaces – you’ve probably seen me wearing their Joelle choker in the past. I wear this pretty much everyday! Such good quality, and so different from everywhere else too.
