In honour of my MAC lipstick collection going live on my channel this morning, I thought I’d round up a few of my most favourite picks from the brand. These five are my most loved and most worn, and I’ve covered every occasion with the selection – from everyday wear to evening occasions…
; This bright plum matte is always one I receive so many compliments on – the bold shade is flattering and never garish, and I love slicking it on all year round. It’s not overly purple, so great if you’re not daring enough to go all out, but it still packs a punch!
; Easily one of my most worn shades, Kinda Sexy is a dreamy matte rose pink. It’s a feminine, flirty take on your typical nude and I find it goes with whatever makeup I’m wearing, and is perfect for every occasion. There’s just enough pink in there to warm the collection, and I love how long this wears once applied. A staple, if you will.
; Described as a bright fuschia matte, this bold number is a favourite of mine because it’s just so different to everything else I own. It’s almost red, but with a lot more of a pinky tone to it.
It’s not too ‘out there’, but it definitely pulls a look together perfectly. I love pairing it with a simple eye, or with a whole lotta liner! It always looks so polished.
The retro matte finish means it’s quite drying, so be sure to prep your lips first to guarantee long-wear.
; Another bright fuschia pick, this was from a recent collection and I instantly fell in love! Also a matte finish, this is so perky and I find it’s my go-to for date nights and evenings out. I love it with simple cat-flick liner and dewy skin!
; This is my everyday shade, it’s such an effortless pinky-beige that suits everyone. The satin finish means it’s really lovely on the lips, and it doesn’t require much maintenance throughout wear.
Pair it with a smokey eye, contoured cheeks and big hair for your easy everyday look.
; This ‘full powered coral’ is the perfect change from your typical red – it’s vibrant without being shocking, and it’s a lovely shakeup for summer.
I love the matte finish, and it’s the kind of colour that looks a little bit different on everyone. A must have in any lipstick collection!
