It’s not often I do a post focused on one brand, but I feel like this is a worthy cause. I’ve been a fan of NARS since I bought my first product six years ago – I still remember going in to Harvey Nichols and buying Orgasm blush! Since then, my collection has grown rather a lot.
I’ve picked up some of my must have products; from blusher to eyeshadow. I’m yet to find a NARS product that I haven’t fallen in love with instantly – the collection is consistently impressive, and well worth the money.
; The newest addition to the NARS base line, this Skin Tint was an instant hit with me. The creamy consistency and skin-like result are exactly what I look for in a foundation, and I couldn’t be more impressed with how this applies and wears. I have a full review here if you wish to know more.
; I have an entire collection of NARS blushers, I really do think they’re some of the best out there. My current favourite is Sin, a dreamy berry hue with a subtle gold shimmer – sounds beautiful, right? It’s the ultimate colour for played down cheeks, and I reckon it works wonders on all skin types.
I also love Deep Throat, Luster and Orgasm!
; Surprisingly, this is another new addition for me, despite it being one of the brands most popular products. If you’re aiming for a natural hint of gorgeous bronzy radiance, Laguna is your BFF. It really is the king of bronzers – just a quick sweep with a large fluffy brush has me looking subtly sunkissed and super healthy.
; The NARS eyeshadows are up there with their blushers, bronzes and bases! I cannot recommend NARS eyeshadows enough, they really are some of the best out there. I usually wear Alhambra, a combination of rose gold and a champagne shimmer – I don’t think I’ve ever worn this and not received a compliment!
I also highly recommend Silk Road, All About Eve and Kalahari; all flawless shades I wear daily!
; Despite having this Matte Multiple for a while now, I’ve actually only just fallen in love with it – it was a grower, for sure. This is ultra creamy and so pigmented, and it’s super easy to get a really natural, dewy flush with one quick application. I prefer the matte finish to the original shimmers, as I find the colour is a bit more effortless.
Anguilla is my favourite – a rich, everyday coral that perks up the complexion and stays put all day.
; Now here’s where that money’s at. These lip pencils are an absolute must for any lipstick fan; I own quite a few shades, and I love the various finishes. For the , I love the shades Bolero and Roman Holiday – they’re incredibly creamy and last so well once applied.
I also recommend the ; Biscayne Park is my favourite, but there’s a few gems in the range! You really can’t go wrong with these.
It’s also worth mentioning that the NARS palettes are really great – they’re usually always made up of colours from the main line, so you’re able to purchase them in full-size if you’re a fan. I’m not sure if its just me, but I prefer to have items from the main collection rather than limited edition shades… could be a blogger thing though!
I bought a few years ago and I still use it most days, it’s one of my favourite finds ever.
Also! My top tip for keeping those NARS compacts super clean? Use an old (preferably rough) towel and give the packaging a good rub, they’ll be nice and clean in an instant. No need to thank me…
