My June Goals.

The six month mark…

I absolutely refuse to believe we’re almost halfway in to the year already! I was thinking the other day I’ll be quite happy to see the back of 2019 to be honest, but I do have 7 months to change that so I’m starting over, in June, with a new mindset. Positive vibes all the way, especially with all this excitement to look forward to…!

01. It’s our two year wedding anniversary today (!!!), and we’re spending it at our friend’s wedding which makes the day even more romantic! A wedding on your wedding anniversary!!
I said recently that Jordan and I hadn’t been back to New York together since we got married there two years ago, but this month we’re heading back and I cannot CONTAIN my excitement. Every trip we’ve taken to New York has been nothing short of magical, I love that we have so many incredible memories there. I really can’t wait to hit up some of our favourite haunts and try some new places too! Oh New York, I love you so.

02. I feel like I need to keep my head down this month to make up for the time I lost to my recent injuries. I try not to be too hard on myself when these things happen, everyone has to take unexpected time off sometimes, but the reality of being self-employed isn’t so rosy. I’m glad I have most of the month to catch up on the blog, do some work on both flats (lists have been made!) and start on some projects as soon as I get this bulky cast off!

03. This week the TV show I was a judge on, Scotland’s Home of the Year, aired it’s final episode! I can’t believe it’s all over now, even though we filmed it almost a year ago, it has felt like such a massive part of my life over the last year.
I’m truly in awe of the reaction it received, I guess because it’s on a new channel here in Scotland, I didn’t expect so many people throughout the UK to tune in. I’m so grateful to everyone who watched, shared, tweeted, messaged me and passed the word on to friends and family. So many of you said you binged watched it, that you got your parents/friends in to it, that you never missed an episode, that you loved Anna, Michael and I as judges.
I felt out of my depth at times during filming, but I like to think we all brought something to the table and the entire series came together so well. We haven’t heard much about a second series, but I may have kept some space in my diary just in case…

04. I may have already said this at some point, but I’m hoping to relaunch my blog this year with more categories and perhaps an entire interiors section of the site. I’m in the planning stages at the moment, my developers are in Australia so we usually Skype when we can, but I’d love to hear your thoughts. Is there anything you love/find difficult to use about the blog? Anything you’d like to see more of? It would be awesome to have some feedback!

So that’s where I am this month, hoping for a productive one! What are you planning for the month ahead?
