Shaking Up My Wardrobe For Winter.
What’s in my wardrobe, winter edition…
Oh winter, you’re bringing me down! Still, at least my wardrobe is looking cute.
This year (and probably every year actually), I’ve shunned the typical burgundy and navy tones in favourite of blush hues, leopard print and velvet blues. And I ain’t sorry.
Honestly, this edit has more black in it than my usual edit so I guess it’s a lil bit wintery… maybe?
I’ve always loved borg jackets, I already have a blue denim jacket, and a black version too. I wear both a lot, more in spring/summer/autumn admittedly, but when you spy a studded star version of your favourite jacket, you buy it. No questions asked.
I actually found this Topshop number in the sale, and it was love at first sight! So chic, and just the statement item my wardrobe needed.
Another cute Topshop find, more seasonal this time I promise, is this gorgeous frill waist skirt. I’ve found myself wearing this daily lately as it’s so easy to throw on with some tights, ankle boots and a cute black jumper or top. Easy peasy winter dressing!
I was very luck to receive this beautiful Acne Studios scarf for my birthday, and I think I’ve worn it everyday since! It’s so cosy and just the right length, and the pinky coral tones go with everything I wear.
I bought this fitted cream teddy coat recently and the pink scarf/cream coat combo is GIVING ME LIFE, you guys.
Another little luxe find that became mine recently is the Mansur Gavriel Crossbody Circle Bag, which I have wanted for MONTHS.
Mansur Gavriel are probably my favourite designers, and when I popped in to the New York store in June last year when we got married, the girl in the store saw me eyeing up the circle totes and told me there was a cross-body version coming soon. Well, that sounded like the dream bag to me!
Fast forward six months, and this blush beaut is all mine. I’ve become a little bit obsessed with it… but really, it totally is me in bag form, am I right?
In terms of accessories, I added this Rock N Rose Sunflower earrings to my collection last year and they’ve become my go-to when I need a little glitz!
The brilliant gold finish and oversized shape mean they update every outfit in an instant, I’m totally in love with ’em.
Accessories make an outfit, if you ask me!
Although I never really think of myself as a shoe gal, a couple of cuties have caught my eye.
The first are these Office Leopard Print Boots, which I saw and immediately added to my bag. I’ve been after the perfect pair of leopard print booties for the longest time, and these tick all the boxes.
Lately I’ve been wearing them with a simple white lace top and blue skinny jeans… the most effortless outfit!
Finally, these blue-grey velvet shoes! I really can’t resist velvet anything at the moment, so when I saw these Mango cuties (now out of stock, boo!) I imagined they would be perfect for dinner dates and evenings out.
I’ve got a few dresses and jeans outfits these go perfectly with, so they were a good find!
I seem to have effortless winter dressing down this season, and I love this line-up of cute finds.
What are your go-to items at the moment?
