Gift Guide: Stocking Fillers.

27/11/17

The Christmas countdown has begun…

It’s that time of year again… GIFT GUIDE SEASON. These are some of my favourite posts ever to create, they’re unbelievably messy and take forever to plan, photograph and organise, but I love working on them year after year.

As always, first up is stocking fillers. I adore buying gifts for my loved ones, and stocking fillers are my favourite – they’re the most fun to buy!
We don’t do big gifts in my family so I’ve become very good to picking presents that are fun but small and affordable. I think the idea of a stocking is a lovely, cosy roundup to open on Christmas morning; my ideal stocking would contain some new festive PJs, some bath bits and an abundance of chocolate… maybe even a candle or a puzzle too (I’m hoping this Celebrity Couples game because that is right up my street)!
Jordan’s would contain anything Star Wars related, even more chocolate and coffee… we’re very easy to buy for.

Do It Yourself

I always like to create personalised gifts for my family; I pick out a few of their favourite things and make a mini gift set for them. So for my brother this year, I was thinking about creating a little mini gin and tonic set with indie/luxe brands – a mini gin would make the cutest stocking filler!

Think About The Day

As I said, stockings should be stuffed with gifts that are fun for Christmas morning if you ask me. I’ve rounded up a few foodie gifts (how nice would it be to get a pack of posh biscuits in your stocking?!), as well as cute festive PJs and some cosy socks. I was going to say “not very exciting” but I’m totally the kind of person to get excited over Christmas pyjamas…

I’ve packed in so many ideas below for stocking stuffers, including a few mini beauty treats as well because who doesn’t love travel-sized versions of your faves?
What do you love getting in your stocking?
