It’s finally bath season! I’m making that a thing so note it down, we’re going to be making time for ourselves, stocking up on oils and salts and bubbles and (bath) bombs.
Baths are really big in our household, I’ve even got Jordan hooked on Lush sprees and drinking tea under a layer of warm, lavender-scented foam! It’s a picture, let me tell you.
I’m really big on taking time out to get away from it all and think about nothing for a bit. I swear I would be entirely grey if I didn’t know how to relax and switch off when I needed it.
This is the ultimate addition to any bath tub! Not only are these bath salts the perfect shade of blush – very important, ideal for Insta etc. – they’re also packed with salts and minerals to get you feeling your best!
I’m always hearing about the benefits of salts, they work wonders on mind and body – I know a lot of people (including myself) have felt their energy levels increase noticeably after using magnesium spray or salts.
Slip a few spoonfuls in to running bath water for a boost – they’re a great way to feel your best, as the scent of vetiver and sandalwood (two of my favourites!) combined with the soapy bubbles is basically heaven!
Oh my, this concentrated bath oil basically sends me in to a coma! The scent is delicious and it fills the entire bathroom with the reviving notes of basil and eucalyptus.
The brand teamed up with Space NK (the best!) to collaborate on this oil, and it was made with the winter months in mind. It clears the head and sinuses, so it’s going to be a favourite of mine throughout what I like to call ‘sick season’, as I fail to deal with the cold weather hahaaa. Help me.
If lavender is more your thing, stock up this Elemental Herbology bath oil! I use this a lot if I’m having issues sleeping, or I need an early night – I pretty much pour it in by the bottle.
The oil helps to soothe the body and mind, making it a must for weary souls after long, stressful days at work. It also encourages circulation and drainage, working its magic on fatigue on a bigger scale too.
I love how this produces the most fabulous, foamy bubbles along with an incredible, sleepy scent.
I really think The White Company do the best candles on a budget, for one the scent throws so well, and the packaging is pretty Pinterest-worthy too – hey, you gotta take these things in to consideration!
My latest find is Autumn, which reminds me of crunchy leaves underfoot and warmed spiced pears. Ugh, just so perfect for this time of year!
If I had to pick a favourite, however, I’d opt for . A seriously sensual concoction that is both warming and exotic.
The ultimate guide to relaxation… something I could probably write a book on. But I won’t, that seems like overkill at this point. What are you favourite bath time must haves?
