I’m at a pretty happy place with my skin right now, I seem to have nailed my skincare routines in recent months and so I thought I’d share my evening lineup with you here…
My evening skincare routine is pretty simple; I double cleanse, tone, use an eye cream, slick on a treatment and finish with a good moisturiser. There’s not a lot to it, and I think this easy routine is what makes my skin happy. No thick creams, no layers of treatments… just skincare that works!
; I don’t wear a crazy amount of eye makeup, but if I have decided to slick on liner and go heavy on the mascara, I find using a bi-phase remover means a hassle-free cleanse. I hate oily remover products that leave a film on the skin, and it took me ages to find a product that didn’t feel greasy or leave my eyes blurry after use, until I got this Chanel winner. It’s not cheap, but it’s lasted me forever as I don’t tend to use it all that regularly, and because my eyes are so sensitive I’m happy paying the money.
I just squeeze out a good amount on to two cotton pads and hold over eyes (and lips if I’m wearing lipstick), before wiping away. Easy!
; I guess it was obvious this was going to be featured, it’s my desert island product! It makes makeup removal an absolute breeze, and my skin totally loves it. All natural, beautiful to use, easy to remove… I could go on and on about this cleanser!
I pump out a coin-sized amount and spend a few minutes gently massaging in to the skin, before removing with a warm, damp face cloth. Simple!
; Another skincare wonder I’ve been using for years is this brilliant cleansing oil. This is perfectly light, removes every trace of makeup and ensures my complexion looks and feels lush. It’s super easy to remove and it doesn’t leave a film on the skin, so I love it for night-time use.
; Everyone I speak to at Kiehl’s says this is the best product going, and I’m inclined to agree! This is so much more than a toner – for one, it’s a littler thicker, and I use my hands to apply instead of cotton pads. It helps to keep the skin hydrated, whilst also encouraging a dreamy, radiant complexion!
I pat in a good amount every evening for incredible results.
; I’ve always used the cream version of this, but recently I’ve found the eye gel to be a little more quenching, helping to take care of puffiness and dark circles and ensuring my peepers are bright and nourished. I rarely use any other eye range, the Fresh Lotus offerings make the biggest difference to the eye area!
; A pricey little number, this overnight oil is quite the commitment. I’ve been using this for over a year now, and it’s safe to say I’m hooked!
Every single time I use this, I wake up to the clearest skin. It’s full of complexion-enhancing ingredients that literally transform my face – reducing blemishes, calming redness, evening out tone. It’s a miracle worker, I swear.
; It’s no secret that I’m pretty picky when it comes to my moisturisers, but I’ve definitely found my long-time love in this LRP number! The formulation was inspired by Korean beauty rituals, and the soft, creamy concoction sinks in to the skin beautifully. It works a bit like an overnight sleep mask, and skin feels so supple and smooth come morning. It’s not overly rich, but it’s incredibly hydrating and does wonders for a parched skin type.
