The Budget Duo For Oily Hair.

Technically, this is the budget foursome for oily hair but I originally only picked up the shampoo and conditioner, and have since added the dry shampoo. The pre-shampoo treatment is next on my list. But I digress…

The L’Oreal Extraordinary Clay Shampoo and Conditioner are designed to break the cycle in oily hair – the daily washes, stripping the natural oils from the hair, making it more greasy up top and even drier on the ends. This is a legit issue for me.
I spied these in Superdrug on a recent trip in to pick up ONE THING, and had to have them. I got too used to never washing my hair when I was on Roaccutane (oh how I miss that drug!), and now I’m back to feeling like I have to wash my straggly locks every damn day. It’s a nightmare.

The products are made with three refined clays to rebalance the hair, making it feel super fresh and incredibly hydrated. It also helps to increase the amount of time between washes, which, for me, is basically hours and not days.
I didn’t find the products too different in texture – they don’t have the consistency of a clay mask or anything, but they feel incredibly lightweight on the hair and I did actually notice a difference in my hair quite quickly. I could go without washing for a little longer, and my roots weren’t nearly as oily.

My hair once dried doesn’t feel like it has product in it – I was a little wary of the clay, what if it felt stiff or weird in my hair? But nope, it’s invisible and my hair just feels like a less-oily, more-nourished version of its usual self.
I’m giving it a thumbs up – it’s a really good range for oily hair! I’ve tried shampoos aimed at oily hair in the past and all it’s done is left my hair super static, so I think I’m on to something with these two.

An affordable duo for super swishy hair! I’m definitely going to be picking up the pre-shampoo treatment…

Have you spied these in stores?
