What is it with me and MAC at the moment? I’m seriously obsessing over the brand right now! I had some time to kill at the airport recently so decided to browse the MAC counter… and I ended up doing a bit of damage.
; This seems to be everyone’s favourite powder at the moment (and maybe of all time?), but I haven’t used it in years! I’ve been after something light for touch-ups and setting purposes, so I thought this would be the perfect pick for a super natural result. It’s been keeping my makeup looking polished this week, without the cakey finish – so I’d say I picked well!
; My MAC lipstick collection is getting out of control, but I was after a bright ‘n’ bold hue that wasn’t too drying. My lips are still quite chapped right now, but I don’t feel myself without a bright lip. Speak Louder is an out-there bluey pink, the perfect hue for injecting life in to my otherwise quite neutral makeup. It’s early days, but I think I’m on to a winner with this Creamsheen pick.
; Alright, alright – so I gave in to the hype. I have a few lip pencils from the brand, but I’ve been after Soar and Whirl FOR AGES. This is described as a ‘mid tone pinkish brown’ which sums it up perfectly! I’ve been using this to add a bit of colour to my pout pre-lip balm, but I can’t wait to try it out alone!
; This is quite similar to the above, but it’s more of a pinky hue – the brand describe it as a ‘dirty rose’, so it’s quite a nudey hue. I love it, it’s a great everyday shade in my opinion.
; I don’t have many MAC brushes, so I’m slowly adding to my collection – I bought this handy tool for lining and defining my eyes, and also for highlighting and concealing under my brows. So far, I think it’s a great buy – very precise and easy to use.
; There’s something so beautiful about a clean, white fluffy brush with the sleek black MAC handles. Swoon!
I bought this to go along with the MSF, and it’s a must have – so soft, so delicate… it really makes light work of touching up makeup.
Have you tried any of these?
