I’ve found some serious beauty gems in recent weeks, so I thought it was only fair that I gather them up and rave about them here. Hide those bank cards, this lot are going to have you feeling spendy!
; I’ve never been a big fan of dry shampoo, which is odd really as I have fine, oily hair! I’ve just never found the right one… that is, until I came across this body-building baby! I picked this up in New York earlier in the year, and I haven’t looked back since. The nozzle allows for precise application, the powder is weightless and not sticky in the hair, and it never leaves my hair looking grey. It’s brilliant for adding volume, ensuring hair lasts a little longer between washes, and keeping your blowdry in check.
; As much as I adore the Chubby line of products, I really did think this was going to be a letdown. I thought it would be dry and hard to blend, but it’s surprisingly creamy and seamless when it comes to application. I wear it alone on lazy days, or use it for touching up and adding coverage on days when I feel a little more coverage is needed. It’s a handy little product, that’s for sure!
; This is the first I’ve tried from luxe brand MV, but I’m already getting a taste for the no-frills, no-nasties skincare brand. This is hugely hydrating, but without feeling heavy on the skin, and it makes a lovely base for makeup! Don’t be put off by the plain old packaging, this brand are killing it!
Smashbox Crush on Blush Palette; If there’s one thing you buy this month, let it be this perfect palette! Smashbox really are such an overlooked brand, but their products really do deliver – especially their incredible palettes. This blush roundup packs in everything you need to get a natural-looking flush in minutes, and it comes with a bronzer and highlighter too. I haven’t used anything else in weeks!
This little series always encourages me to try new bits and bobs, and I’ve definitely got a good thing going with this lot!
Have you tried any of these?
