A Bar Cart Tour!

Ahh my bar cart! This is definitely one of my favourite pieces in my home; I had wanted a bar cart for so long before I picked up this little lovely. I had initially DIY’d a trolley I found on Gumtree, but it didn’t work with our interiors in the end so I kept looking.

Eventually I laid eyes on this absolute beauty – it was truly love at first sight! The marble and gold creation is from Oliver Bonas, I spotted it while browsing the site one night and bought it almost straight away!
I have a lot of marble and gold in my living room, and I even had a corner of the room reserved for a round bar table. It was more than ideal!

We usually keep the cart pretty well stocked; it currently boasts a good selection of our favourite alcoholic beverages. I love cocktails, so I do like to have a good mix of spirits on hand for impromptu drinks. I love Chambord, a delicious raspberry liqueur which is the key ingredient in a French Martini, St. Germain, another favourite of mine, this is elderflower liqueur – it’s heavenly.
I also love the Edinburgh Gin creations – I currently have the Raspberry Liqueur here. I love mixing this in to cocktails, it’s so delicious.

Cherry brandy, Tanqueray gin, Disaronno and Bailey’s are also currently sitting on the bar, we’re pretty experimental with our drinks!

I get most of my bar accessories from Anthropologie, they have so many pretty pieces that fit in with my gold theme. The lemon bottle opener was a present from Jordan – how cute is it? I just love it!
The copper jigger is also an Anthro find, I bought this a while ago – before I moved on from copper – but somehow the mix of metallics works for me. So it’s staying!

I added a metal trivet and a Replica candle for good measure. It makes the whole corner feel very luxe and sophisticated somehow!

Below is a video tour of the bar cart, if you’d like to see it in action…

What do you think of my bar cart? Are you a fan of drinks trolleys?
