An alco-free fizz!
As a committed cocktail creator, I’ve had to get a little bit inventive now I’m on the lemonades for the next few months! I love the feeling of creating a drink on a Friday night, and it’s the practice of putting together something delicious, pouring it in to a beautiful glass and garnishing it with fresh fruit or herbs that I miss the most!
So of course I had to try my hand at a few mocktails! I haven’t really missed alcohol all that much, but as I said, I like the feeling of settling down with a drink. I also think these would be perfect for a baby shower or a similar celebration, especially with the olive branch for decoration. It just looks so fun! And it tastes even better.
To Make One Grapefruit & Elderflower Fizz:
Fill a pretty highball or balloon glass with ice, and add the below:
50ml freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
25ml elderflower cordial
Top with your favourite alcohol-free prosecco and garnish with a wedge of grapefruit and a bit of rosemary if you’re feeling extra fancy. I added a small piece of an olive branch for an extra bit of fun!
Stir before sipping your summery spritz! Isn’t it oh so easy?!
A super easy creation that is refreshing, alcohol-free and perfect for summer! I can’t believe I’ve never made this before, especially as the no-secco can easily be swapped out for real prosecco – the combination of zesty grapefruit and sweet, floral elderflower is just heavenly. Remind me to pick up the ingredients for when baby is here!
I’ve linked to a few of my favourite cocktail staples below too. Let me know if you’d like to see more mocktail recipes, they’re so fun to make!
