Autumn is always my time to work on my wardrobe staples, I find myself lusting after forever bags, party shoes, structured coats and knitwear in every colour as soon as the temperatures drop. To me, fashion at this time of year is reliable – I’ll always need cosy jumpers and big jackets in Scotland!
Here’s a little rundown of what I’ve seen from my favourite brands and designers this week…
I am living in fun jackets right now, as my breastfeeding-friendly outfits can get a little boring. I find having a few options to throw over the top can really help with making my cycle of ensembles feel more interesting. This twill jacket is perfect for wearing with blue jeans, loafers and a white lace blouse (see below for inspo!).
If I had to pick one wardrobe staple, it would absolutely be a simple white lace blouse. This Mango number is perfect – interesting enough to add a little somethin’ somethin’ to any look, but casual enough for everyday wear.
Perfect for those of us who enjoy a festive pyjama but don’t want to go full Santa Clause. Silky, simple, and oh so timeless. I’ll try and convince Jordie he needs a pair too.
These have gone straight to the top of my Christmas wishlist. I love the metallic finish and chunky heel – perfect for Christmas parties and beyond. My ideal ‘goes with anything’ statement shoe.
I’m really feeling a colourful beanie at the moment (if you haven’t noticed!) and this sage number is exactly what my wardrobe is missing. I can picture it paired with a camel coat, white jeans and a striped jumper – effortless winter dressing at it’s best.
We’re all crazy about shearling right now, right? I literally cannot get enough of looking like a giant sheep. I spied this Free People cosy wosy number recently and can’t stop thinking about how much I need it. The oversized fit makes it extra cloud-like, and I just know it’ll see me through the colder months!
I’m really loving this cool brown shade at the moment, especially in outerwear form. This fluffy number feels like it would work with every outfit; jeans and a jumper – yup, sleek evening jumpsuit – yep. I’ve convinced myself I need it.
I already have a few Mansur Gavriel bags and likely don’t need anymore, but the new M Frame style is really speaking to me. I just can’t resist a structured bag, and the camel colour feels very 70s too.
A few dreamy pieces I’ll have a hard time resisting! Have you got your eye on any of these?
