Beauty Beauty Edits Skincare

In My Bathroom Beauty Cabinet.

If you’ve been anywhere near my Instagram feed lately, you’ll know we recently got a new bathroom cabinet and it has taken centre-stage! It’s a thing of beauty itself, the brass arched mirror with the hidden medicine cabinet storage… I’ve had a lot of fun organising my daily products in here.

I’ve discovered some incredible products this year, I’m not sure what it is – maybe slowing down with pregnancy or just appreciating currently having time to commit to my routines, but I’ve really loved carving out time to apply my favourite products.

Mantle The Ex Exfoliator*
I discovered CBD-infused brand Mantle earlier this year when I worked with them on a campaign – although the packaging would have won me over eventually! Everything I tried from their simple but solid range of skincare has been nothing short of amazing, and I’d be hard pushed to pick a favourite. However, there’s one staple that still wows me every time I use it and that’s The Ex Exfoliator. Made up of AHAs and BHAs, as well as micro-particles, this bright scrub sloughs away dead skin cells to leave skin fresh, soft and radiant. I use it once a week and every time I rinse off the product, I am entirely blown away by the difference it’s made to my complexion! You need this in your routine, trust me on this one.

Necessaire The Neck Serum*
I’m not sure who I think I am, swanning in here and recommending a NECK SERUM when I barely even apply eye cream half the time, but I had this through my letterbox the other day and I thought… you know what? I should probably look after my chest a little better – as someone who sleeps on their side and is starting to see fine lines, it has been a bit of a concern of mine for a while! Plus I saw a TikTok about applying SPF to your chest and it scarred me.
Well, one use and I was hooked – it really hydrated my parched chest and made the skin look supple and smooth! It also just felt like a nice step in my routine, it took minutes but felt like I was going the extra mile.

Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil
I was recommended this by my skincare gal Nicole a year or so ago and I haven’t looked back since. Silky, non-offensive and capable of removing even the most stubborn of makeup, this is a product I refuse to be without. I even paid extra shipping to fast track the delivery when I ran out recently. It feels so delicious to apply and really makes light work of the evening cleanse. Heavenly!

Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops
I saw these drops on TikTok recently and thought, yes I need them. I nearly even ventured in to town to buy them in Space NK so I could have them in my hot little hands that very day, but thought better of it.
These bronzing drops can be mixed with anything to give you a little bit of a glow – your serum, oil, moisturiser, foundation or even your SPF. I add a couple of drops to my moisturiser for a little added radiance every day, they really do work wonders for perking up the complexion!

Skin+Me Daily Doser*
Another skincare brand I worked with recently, I’d seen Skin+Me all over Instagram and understood the concept but didn’t think it would work for me. When they offered to send me a trial before we started working together, I gave it a go and haven’t looked back since! There’s two things I really rate about Skin+Me, the first being, simply, that they took a look at my skin and told me the formula I needed – oh so helpful for pregnancy skin which couldn’t be more different to my pre-pregnancy skin!
The second is that the packaging allows you to dispense the right amount of product for each application so you just can’t go wrong! My skin is transformed, and I haven’t had to spend ££££ on an entire new routine either. Win, win.
Also, my code KATESPIERS might still work if you’re thinking of signing up!

Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance*
Although of course I’ve known about Dermalogica for years and years, I’ve never tried much from the brand until recently. Well, I am making up for lost time because I could easily use a full skincare routine from the brand!
My skin while I’m pregnancy is the opposite of what it was like pre-pregnancy and it’s taken a lot of getting used to. Mainly it’s just super parched, and this Dermalogica moisturiser is giving it everything it needs.

It helps to restore your skin’s barrier while also making sure it’s as plump and hydrated as can be. I love it, and it slots perfectly into both my morning and evening skincare routine for maximum hydration!

A bit of a medley of skincare there, but all products I just had to share! Have you tried any of these?
