Now this, this is my area of expertise! I seem to only have boys to buy for so I’ve had to become quite good at it – and I do believe I’ve got the gift giving game down to a fine art.
The trick is to cover all bases – something they can drink, something they can eat, something they can wear, and something they can do! It’s easy peasy, I promise you.
And gals, this is your time to introduce a bit of a skincare routine in to their lives – a basic moisturiser or an exfoliating cleanser always goes down a treat, or you could go a step further and pick out a candle (who doesn’t love a candle?!) This is an especially good idea if you notice your Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin number burning quicker than it should…
I usually tend to think David Shrigley is a great go-to for gifts, you can find tea towels, calendars and even salt and pepper shakers in his quirky style. Admittedly you do have to know the receiver rather well before you can gift them any of his pieces, but he is such good fun.
