Today marks one month since upped and eloped to New York, can you believe it?! And what a month it’s been!
Sidenote: you might also remember my very ambiguous June Goals post last month, oh I’m a tease, aren’t I?
June has given us a wonderful, unforgettable trip to New York, our secret elopement, a wedding party with all our friends (disguised as our engagement party), Jordan’s 30th birthday, and so many amazing memories that I will forever hold dear! What have you got for me, July?!
01. Well, it’s definitely not going to be a relaxing month, as we’re heading off to New Zealand to celebrate with my side of the family! When I bought my wedding dress, I said “I don’t want to spend too much money on it, because I’ll only wear it once” wrong. I’ve worn it twice now, and no doubt my family will want to see me in it in NZ too! Luckily I just adore it so I’m not complaining.
Also, what sort of posts would you like to see from NZ? I didn’t blog anything last time but I’m determined to get some good posts this time!
02. We decided to stopover in LA on our way home from New Zealand – a little treat for swapping warmth for winter as we head to colder climes in New Zealand.
Jordan’s never been to LA so I’m excited for him to see it, and we’re staying in Beverly Hills so I’m sure I’ll see a different side of the city than when I visited last.
Side note: I just realised this is technically in August, but it’s staying!
03. Our other exciting trip this month is to London to see my favourite band, The Killers. One of their songs was actually our first dance at our wedding, so I’m crossing everything that they play it. That would be a dream come true!
We also have a couple of days to hang out in London and I have no idea what to do! Any recommendations?
04. Get back in to my routines! I’ve definitely fallen behind with work etc. lately, with all the travelling, wedding fun and projects I’ve had on. I just want to catch up on weekly vlogging, be ahead with my blog posts and try and get through all this work that’s piled up around me! Yay for feeling motivated!
What’s on the cards for you lovely lot this month?
