Oh good heavens, I can’t get enough of summer dresses right now! I used to always be a skirt and top, mix and match kinda girl, but this season I’ve been hooked on feminine dresses. They seem so summery, and so easy to throw on and go when the sun is a-shining!
Bardot dresses seem to be my thing at the moment, especially midi length styles that are fitted yet floaty. I’m also loving red picks and wrap dresses – again, very minimal effort required to style these so perfect for low maintenance gals like myself.
This bardot number is a Topshop find from a couple of months ago and I adore it, I’ve worn it a lot because I find the simple star print quite timeless. The fit is so flattering, and it seems to be a piece I love wearing when I’m away and when I’m on home turf.
If you’re loving the bardot style, Topshop … which I also own. Yup, obsessed.
It was a warm day in New York when these photos were taken, we were exploring Tribeca and I wanted an effortless ensemble to get me through the day. I paired the dress with my favourite and Mansur Mini Mini Bucket bag ().
These are my find of the moment, they’re just so cute! Everyone needs a pair, I’m telling you.
I’ve popped a little roundup of my favourite summer dresses below – some of these are currently sitting in my wardrobe, some of them are sitting nicely in my ASOS basket.
What do you think of the bardot trend?
