I’ve been a big fan of Scandinavian interiors for so long, and String shelves seem to be the staple in any Scandi home. I originally planned to have this simple set in the living room, but the walls just wouldn’t take them, so in the end I opted instead to place them in the bathroom, and I’m very glad I did!
This space just had a mini gallery wall before, but it was definitely lacking something! We’ve had shelves here in the past, but they weren’t nearly as dreamy as the simple String shelves.
They fit perfectly, and give off that really clean, fresh feel that a bathroom needs.
I chose , they’re the perfect size for holding my beauty bits and bobs and they were way too easy to put up. I absolutely adore how effortless they look, and the white makes them so easy to style.
I used my favourite everyday beauty products to make the shelves seem a little more homely; there’s everything from Aesop lovelies to .
I also added a Burro’s Tail plant, for a pop of greenery. He looks so happy here!
It’s hard to believe something as simple as Pocket String shelves has turned this little area around! I love the contrast between our monochrome floor tiles, the and the bright white shelves. So eye-catching for the bathroom.
Having another place to store all my beauty bits has been amazing too!
