What’s a trip to the US without a Sephora spree, eh? I went a liiiiittle crazy at the NARS stand, and also picked up more lipsticks than I’ll ever need!
Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask – / I’ve been after this bad boy for so long now! I almost bought it when I was last in New York, but decided to hold off until I was off the acne meds. Finally, it is mine!
This is the type of product that works instantly, which is what I looooove. It helps to smooth and brighten skin, ensuring skincare sinks in better and makeup applies more evenly – an all-round winner, basically.
This is another product I’ve been eyeing up for what feels like ages! It has the texture of beaten egg whites, and it’s supposed to smooth and brighten the complexion. It’s gentle on the skin, and doesn’t give quite the result the aforementioned mask does, but I was still very impressed with how supple and healthy my skin looked. I’ll get a full review up ASAP!
My hair has been in dire need of a hair mask, and so I headed straight for the Verb counter. I’ve tried this brand in the past and they’re yet to let me down – the mask instantly nourished my parched locks, and it did so without weighing it down. Me love.
Anastasia DipBrow Pomade – / This stuff is my go-to brow product, and I’ve been using it since it released. I stocked up on a darker hue this time, and the colour match is looking good. A great brow product if you need volume and colour!
Anastasia Contour Kit – / So I’m totally behind on the whole contouring thing, but since I was blessed with a moonface, I’m going to have to give it a go! I’m keen to try the banana powder, and the highlight looks impressive. I’ll keep you posted!
I’m all about the liquid lipsticks, and this shade had me, er, charmed. I love the rich berry hue, not exactly a Spring shade but definitely an evening must have!
I don’t really know what I was thinking with this one, I think I saw it on someone else and really thought I could pull it off. It’s very bold… I’m not sure it’s me, but I’m going to see if I can work it. Don’t hold your breath…
Ahh that’s more like it! I’m obsessed with the NARS Audacious lipsticks, and Natalie is the ultimate everyday shade. Isn’t it cute?
Another bright one, this formula is pretty impressive I have to say! Sort of like a creamy, slightly glossy yet matte lipstick. I’m all for it! Magenta is a very vibrant shade, but I love it – I can tell this is going to be one I save for special occasions.
Perhaps my favourite pick of the lot, this dreamy, gothic hue is just lovely! Again, not exactly a spring pick, but lovely all the same. These lip pencils just have the best formula ever!
Check out more details on my picks below! Have you tried any of these?
