Hourglass Surreal Lighting Edit.

Deep breaths. I realise you’re eyeing up the most incredible face palette ever to exist. Take a moment, have a lie down and come back if you need to. I get it, it’s a beauty.

I just knew I was going to get my hands on the new Hourglass Surreal Lighting Edit, I saw the promo images months ago and I knew I needed it.
You may have noticed that I never really enter in to the whole new collection palettes thing, or hype up new releases, mainly because the shades are usually hues I already have, or the packaging is gimmicky.

Enter the Surreal Lighting Edit. Perfectly packaged in a marble case, complete with stunning, simple gold lettering.
The five flawless shades within are all new, unseen before shades. Which is great news for me as I already own the Ambient Blush Palette, along with quite a few individual blush shades and more than enough of the Ambient Lighting Powders.
I did not need doubles of the shades, so I was overjoyed when they announced the news of unreleased shades.

This is a complete face palette, offering everything you need to get that supermodel-esque glow. Now I have such a perfect collection of powders, I can’t imagine I’ll be using much else!

Out of all my highlighting products, I love the Hourglass Ambient Lighting offerings the most. They’re just so naturally perfecting – whereas a lot of the other highlighters out right now make me look like one big chunk of glitter, these offer a multi-dimensional glow that blurs imperfections, corrects redness, and smoothes over the skin like nothing else I’ve come across.
In short, they’re flawless.

In the palette there is;

Surreal Light; the nude all-over face powder on the left that offers that awakened, perfected look to skin that seems unachievable without a bit of help from Hourglass!
Surreal Glow; this is the peony pink shade top middle, it’s swirled with Surreal Light for a truly mesmerising finish to the complexion. I can imagine this will look perfect on fairer skins.
Surreal Bronze Light; a neutral bronze hue mixed with Surreal Light to create an effortless everyday bronzer that warms and adds radiance.
Surreal Effect; this is my favourite in the palette, the cool pink tones are swirled with a warmer peach for a magical blush hue that adds just the right pop of colour.
Surreal Strobe Light; that peachy pick bottom right, a dreamy pop of majestic warmth to add a flawless radiance to any look.

The shade selection is nothing short of amazing; the palette has pulled together the most perfect pairings, and I’m already smitten with such a beautiful addition to my collection.

The Surreal Light palette is available to pre-order right now, priced at £69.
It will be making its way to you at the end of the month, so not long to wait for this little piece of heaven!

Will you be treating yourself?
