Like most, I get the occasional breakout – some days my skin just looks like it’s in need of a detox, something only a clay mask will fix. I’m sure you know the feeling…
As much as I love how much good clay masks do for my complexion, I find they’re too much of a faff for me to do more than twice a month!
For one, they’re always a dark grey colour so it’s not usually ideal for my white bathroom and white face cloths, and I also find removing the dried-on mask such. a. hassle.
I can’t be alone here! What a palaver when you’re just trying to chill and do a bit of Sunday pampering.
Enter the new ; a brush and washcloth duo that makes clay masking easy work.
I never got the whole ‘using a brush to apply a mask’ thing, but this has been a game changer! The brush picks up the right amount of product and sweeps the perfect layer on to the face. It seems to work with the contours of the face, meaning application is fuss-free and mess-free.
The washcloth is exactly what I need to combat the dreaded clay removal process; for one, it’s black so I don’t have to worry about getting my white face cloths clean.
On top of that, the cloth is waffle-textured, so it lifts off the dried mask without too much scrubbing from me. It’s a miracle worker, I’m serious.
The brush and cloth duo is designed to work alongside the , a recent addition to the brands skincare lineup.
One quick slick of this product and I knew we had a winner on our hands. I’m usually a tiiiiny bit suspicious of makeup brands that do skincare (I don’t know why either), but bareMinerals have totally nailed it.
The buttery concoction goes on smoothly, and works to detox the skin – leaving the complexion seriously soft, supple and glowing.
I love a mask that promises clearer skin, and this seems to purge the face of impurities whilst also promising a sexy glow too.
I haven’t been this impressed with a skincare release in a while, but paired with the is a bit of a wonder-worker!
A sunday night staple for sure.
Will you be giving these a whirl? !
