There’s two makeup brands I just know I’ll love everything from, and that’s NARS and Charlotte Tilbury. The latter is quickly taking over my makeup collection right now, and I even had a rather large splurge recently to stock up.
I’ve been after a light makeup bag for some time now, so I added this Canvas Cosmetics Bag to my growing stash of makeup bags. I’ve been holding off for a while, but it had to be done!
I couldn’t believe my luck when I received the Complexion Brush Set instead. I was opening the bag like “huh. Don’t remember buying these” and then it hit me! I mean, I did drop a lot of dollar, so maybe they thought I deserved it…
My favourite brush of the lot has to be the Powder & Sculpt Brush – this is awesome for highlighting and contouring, it makes light work of blending and it’s super soft and shaped perfectly.
Of course, I just had to add the Filmstar Bronze & Glow to my basket – I have the cream version of this but I know everyone raves about the original powder duo. I can confirm that it absolutely lives up to the hype – the flawless highlighter perfects skin and adds a dewy glow, while the sculpting powder slims and shapes the face. It’s lucky I got that Powder & Sculpt brush huh!
I have a distinct lack of favourite blushers at the moment, and since I’ve been eyeing up this Charlotte x Norman Parkinson Colour of Youth Cream Blush for what feels like forever, it seemed right to treat myself. That perky colour applies beautifully, adding a dreamy warmth to the skin that is fit for all year round wear. You need this, ladies!
I couldn’t just buy one highlighter, that would be the sensible thing to do – and when it comes to makeup, I am not sensible. The Charlotte x Norman Parkinson Dreamy Glow Highlighter is probably my pick of the lot – it’s responsible for that flawless glow you have all been complimenting me on lately! This is so fine that it basically melts in to the skin, adding a dusting of radiance I thought I would never achieve!
Finally, I added to my crazy Charlotte T eye collection with the Rock n Kohl Pencil in Eye Cheat. I’ve been after a good nude liner for ever, and I don’t regret making this purchase. It’s a great way to make eyes look fuller and more awake. One of the best liners I’ve tried, for sure.
Sigh. I may have overdone it a little, but what can I say? I just love Charlotte Tilbury makeup! Have you tried anything here?
