With the warmer weather we’ve been having lately, I’ve managed to actually get some use out of my summer wardrobe. Finally! Although, my trust issues with the Scottish weather meant I packed a SCARF for walking to brunch, but I managed to do without it… at least for the photos.
I’m trying to do more daily outfits in blog posts, just quick little posts on what I’ve been wearing and how I’ve been styling my latest additions – hopefully I can do a few a week on here now I’m getting the hang of it!
So this dress is probably bordering on grandma attire, but I couldn’t resist the button-down front and the inbetween-midi-and-maxi length!
I managed to diffuse the print with a pair of white Converse, which had been hiding away in our shoe cupboard for like, ever.
I find the button front and tie-waist fit of this dress so flattering, it’s very, very slimming and can be easily worn quite casually or dressed up for dinner. I have it in red too, and I love it – so sophisticated!
It seems New Look are selling out of their button midi dresses so quickly, but I’ve popped a few similar suggestions below if you’re on the hunt for one.
Of course, this Cult Gaia Ark Bag is still a favourite of mine, I got the small size and it’s just perfect. It holds everything, and so far I haven’t had any issues with all the holes in it! I carry any fiddly bits in a smaller zip bag just incase…
It’s the kind of bag that I get so many compliments on too, although Jordan thinks it looks like a sushi matt…
A winning summery outfit, for grey days and warmer weather alike! What do you think of these button down dresses? I own two from New Look so far, but I’m so tempted to snap up a third…
