Setting my sights on a busy month…
We woke to a very white Glasgow this morning, after a LOT of snow yesterday and even more overnight. I’ve never seen this much snow in the city before, it’s been pretty crazy. Today feels so peaceful though, it feels like a good day to catch up on everything and also have a little break!
Anyway, here’s what’s happening with me this month…
01. We’re off again! If the weather permits, that is. We’re heading back to New Zealand again to see my family and attend my brothers wedding! I’m looking forward to the trip actually, I’m even ready for some downtime on the flight too… as long as there’s no delays!
I think we’ll head from Nelson down to Christchurch for a visit, but otherwise we’re just planning on hanging out with my family! I really hope it’s warm…
02. We’re using the time whilst we’re away to have some updates done to the coffee shop, which is in need of an overhaul! It looks a bit bare at the moment but I wanted to take some time to get used to it and plan what might work, and I really like the changes we have in mind.
I actually love spending time in the shop (and not just because I get to hang out with my husband!), and I want to channel this even more and create such a serene, cosy space! Here’s hoping it’s a smooth ride…
03. As soon as we’re home from our travels, we’re having our home photographed for a magazine again which is always fun! Although I do feel the pressure a bit with things like this, mainly because our flat is super old and it shows its age in some places, and also because it’s quite personal, our home. I feel quite exposed~ showing it off sometimes, but you guys are always so lovely.
Then I think it’s time to film an updated apartment tour, since I said I’d do it when my last one reached a million views and we’re getting close!
04. I’m hoping that when I come back from New Zealand, Spring will be here. The clocks go forward, I’ll have seen some sun in NZ and hopefully my wardrobe will be filled with pretty dresses and basket bags, as per my wishlist post here!
I’m really ready for summer plans and fun trips now, so if Scotland could just get the memo…
