Bumble Hair Faves.

I’m a bit of a hair product fanatic – just out of frame in this snap is an entire drawer of treatments, oils and mists. I have quite fine hair, but it doesn’t look it. I’m all about spritzing on the texturising sprays and volume creams until my rivals Adele’s.

I wanted to introduce a few favourites of mine, four Bumble and bumble hair creams all designed to help me achieve hair goals in no time. I’ve been using Bumble since time began – possibly about six years now – and I’m still hooked on their effortless line of hair-changing winners.

Bumble Don’t Blow It; I do try to avoid blowdrying my hair as much as I can, I used to have to wash my hair almost daily (pre-Roaccutane) so the heat got a bit much at times. This stuff is a true saviour for anyone who also tries to airdry their locks – the ultralight cream smoothes the hair, ensuring no frizz and definitely no crispiness. I love the way it leaves my hair so incredibly soft, without any hints that I’ve used any sort of products.
I tend to combine it with a texturising cream, like the below, as I find my fine hair needs a boost – but both go hand in hand, promising silky locks with just a touch of grit.

Bumble Texture (Un)Dressing Creme; I’ve been using this for years and years, I remember first spotting it in Space NK years ago and not being able to bring myself to part with the money for it! I finally worked up the courage (and probably saved up!) to buy it, and I never looked back. I love that effortless, slightly unruly look to my hair; a touch of wave, lots of body, with an extra ‘woke up like this’ finish.
I put a pea-sized amount in my palms, rub ’em together to make the cream a little looser, and then just smooth through damp locks before blow or airdrying. Dreamy!

Bumble Straight Blow Dry; I don’t use this stuff as often as I should, but when I do I notice results! This super smoothing cocktail is a heat-activated cream that helps to tame frizz and fight unruly locks. I like to use it in warm weather, when my hair seems to come alive, but I also find it’s amazing to use alongside salt sprays and texturising products – I know, probably not it’s intended purpose but trust me here. While the texturising products work to add body and hold, this smoothing cream adds a light silkiness to the hair, making the finished results just that little more polished.
Hair looks healthy and sleek, and some days I’m all about that!

Bumble All Style Blow Dry; Another of my absolute must haves is this All Style Blow Dry Creme, aimed at those with fine (me), oil-prone (me) and even frizzy (occasionally me) locks.
I don’t really know what this does, but I can tell you the results are amazing – it seems to be, quite simply, a ‘good hair day’ in a tube. I kid you not.
I add a little in to my palms and smooth through damp hair before blowdrying; expect polished locks, healthier looking hair and even a day extra out of that blowdry. Delicious.

  • The (un)dressing creme sounds lovely. I really need to try and make my hair rival Adele’s, it always looks limp and fine!

  • The Bumble straight Blow dry sounds right up my street, I love salt spray yet I don’t like the feeling they give to my hair so having some voluminous yet silky hair would be the dream for me!

  • Leigh

love bumble! cant live without their pret a powder..such a life saver 🙂

  • I love it when you talk about Bumble and bumble! They have some of my fave products!

  • Lucy Birchall

Usually with these sort of posts there’s one product that sounds right up my street but ALL of it sounds perfect! I hate air drying my hair, and can’t really especially on weekdays when I’m up at 6am giving my hair a blast with the hairdryer. I tend to air dry during the summer but my hair ends up looking a bit limp and ‘kinky’ and pouffe-y which ain’t great. Don’t Blow It sounds like something I’ll definitely *need*. I love the sound of the other three too, and the All Style Blow Dry sounds like everything my hair currently needs in a tube.

    so interesting

  • I like the sound of the Don’t Blow It one as I love to air dry my hair but find it always ends up frizzier than when I heat dry it x

  • I’ve only used a few products from Bumble, but not any of these. Salt spray if my favourite, I use it a lot in summer. I’d like to try some of these, especially don’t blow it.

  • I’ve also been using the Bumble hair Undressing cream for about 8 years, and I’ve been addicted forever! I rave about it to all my friends; it’s the only product that actually works to give some “oomff” to my super long, thick hair 🙂 Need to try the “Don’t Blow It” next 🙂

  • emily couture

I haven’t used any thing from Bumble before these products sound wonderful 🙂

  • Haven’t tried any of them but now I want to!!

  • I really like the sound of Don’t Blow It – I rarely blowdry my hair as I’ve got better things to do with my time but it does tend to end up a little unruly, so this may be worth a try 🙂

I love Bumble and Bumbel. I’ve used their color shampoo and conditioner since it came out. I usually follow up with the hairdressers oil and the straight blow dry. I occasionally stray but always return. My only wish is that they would leave the fragrance out. That’s my dream, unscented hair care!

  • I think I might have to try ‘Don’t blow it’ for my frizzy air-dried locks!

I have lots of fine hair which I’ve just recently cut into a pixie. Would you recommend any of these to give it a healthy but textured finish?

  • Great picks! The Texture Creme really is neat stuff! My favourite from B&B is their Brilliantine Styling Creme- defines my wavy hair will giving a bit of volume and texture 🙂

  • I really like the sound of Don’t blow dry. I used to either let my hair dry naturally and then straighten it or blast it with the hair dryer. Now I don’t straighten my hair any more I tend to blow dry it as if I leave it to air dry it usually fluffs up and in general is only good for tying back out of the way. If a product can help it dry naturally to a presentable state I’m in! x
