Yet Another Lush Haul…

lush2

Don’t mind me, I just have a serious Lush problem. I popped in for one smalllll thing yesterday (the kinda trip where you don’t even pick up a basket) and ended up hurrying to the till, arms laden with goodies. There’s no stopping me.

This haul was pretty much me replenishing my favourite Lush picks, but I did include a little something I’ve never tried before. The Lush Ocean Salt Face & Body Scrub (£13.95) looks a bit like a Breaking Bad prop, but I’ve been told this stuff is the key to super soft limbs, and I know that I’ll be needing it post-holiday… once my bathroom is finished, that is. I loved the sound of this – limes, vodka, grapefruit, avocado butter, coconut oil… it sounds like a boozy smoothie. I’m looking forward to lathering it up in the shower – I expect it’ll be a staple in my silky leg routine.

I also picked up Lush Big (£12.25), the secret to mermaid hair! I haven’t had a tub of this in a few months and I was beginning to really miss it. This has big chunks of sea salt suspended in shampoo, it’s ultra cleansing and leaves hair thick with texture and body. It can be pretty drying, so it’s not something to use all the time, but it’s SO good. I can’t recommend it enough.

The other two here are also products I’m forever repurchasing; Lush Comforter Bubble Bar (£4.75) is my favourite bath product ever, and it lasts months! Jordan bought me a crazy amount of these for Christmas and I’m only just topping up my stash. I just give the bar a good whack in the bag when I first get it (to break it up… not for some sort of ceremonial initiation), so I have a supply to last me eight or so baths. A little goes a really long way, and you’ll soon be melting in to a lovely big bath of pink bubbles… hard to imagine in the middle of summer, but it is heavenly!

Finally, Lush The Olive Branch Shower Gel (£4.75) – the actual reason why I went in to Lush in the first place…. probably also the reason I get up in the morning. I’ve been using this stuff since my teens, and I’m rarely without it. The scent is just everything. A little slice of the Mediterranean while I have my daily wash… it’s bliss.
Plus, the gorgeous fragrance leaves the entire bathroom scented for the morning, which is divine!

Have you tried any of these?

I used to adore the Ocean Salt scrub, however its very aggressive on the skin so I only used it once or twice a week. I’ve kinda forgot about this product and I really am inspired to repurchase it again! I also love that bubble bar, ITS AMAZING!!! http://abreathofbeauty13.blogspot.co.uk/ – feel free to check out my blog!!!x

  • Ahh I completely forgot about the Big shampoo until you posted about it! My Bumble & Bumble Sunday shampoo is nearly finished and I’ll definitely be replacing it with the Lush one to clarify my hair! x

  • The Comforter is my favourite Lush product, ever. Which is quite a feat! It’s amazing though, so worth it and you get so many uses out of it too. I’m a big fan of Rub Rub Rub, but Ocean Salt looks like a slightly more abrasive version which would be ideal for my awful skin right now xx

  • I really like the sound of the Big shampoo, as my hair lacks texture and volume. My favourite bubble bar of all time would have to be the Comforter. There is something about the black current scent that makes me so happy. I definitely need to pay a visit to Lush soon.

  • My Lush obsession has only started recently (I always wondered what all the fuss was about, but now I know!), but I haven’t tried any of these! Unfortunately the only stores near me are not so near and are pretty small, but I’ve got a trip down to London planned at the end of the month so I’m planning to stock up on loads then!

Oh and just spotted, your link to the Olive Branch shower gel isn’t working 🙂

Oh Lush, every wallet’s worst fear, haha. I’m a big fan of The Olive Branch shower gel, it’s definitely one of my favorites but it’s hard for me to justify purchasing as often as I’d like. It’s such a great pick me up kind of product. That Ocean Salt scrub sounds really nice too, must try next time I’m in Lush!
