A Spring Edit.
Prepare yourself for one big Spring edit coming your way this Monday morning! These happy, colourful, coral-filled roundups are some of my favourite posts, and I just had to do my own…
I’ll start with makeup, as it seems it’s my everyday routine that’s taken the biggest hit – I’ll definitely be reaching for my long-time favourite Revlon Photo Ready SkinLights Illuminator in Bare Light (£11.99), if you don’t already own this, add it to your wishlist – it will make your even, dewy complexion dreams come true. It’s shimmery without being too much, and it truly perfects the skin in one quick application.
As for foundation, I’m pretty smitten with the amazing Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Gel Base (£26), a gorgeous, hydrating tinted gel that conceals, smoothes and perfects. It sits somewhere between a BB cream and a tinted moisturiser, but it actually promises quite good coverage. I love wearing it, and my skin always looks naturally radiant and super quenched.
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushers (£28) always make an appearance around this time too, as they’re the perfect hit of radiance and colour. Every single shade I try, I end up loving – they’re all so flattering!
I’m also currently loving the Clinique Pop Lips Lip Colour in Melon Pop (£16) as my everyday hue, and the Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara (£9.99) for big, bold, fluttery lashes. I haven’t tried a new mascara in so long, but this is amazing – little effort, massive lashes.
As for skin, my trusty tube of NUDE Omega Cleansing Jelly (£32) is still going strong – I love how nourishing and deeply cleansing this is, it’s sort of like a balm/gel so it’s more than ideal for my combination skin type. It’s a dream for removing the day, and it purifies my skin without leaving a heavy film behind. I pair it with the Nourish Argan Skin Rescue (£21), an incredible serum/oil treatment that brightens and nourishes my skin. It’s a bit heavy for constant use, but it does wonders when applied a few nights per week!
Also in my Spring edit is the L’Occitane Tonic Body Oil (£34), the best body oil I’ve ever found – I use body oils most days for ease, and I go through them quite quickly. This stuff leaves my parched skin super nourished and really supple, and it’s just so darn easy to spritz on after my morning shower. I have been through two bottles of this, and I don’t see myself stopping any time soon…
My everyday soap of choice right now is the Lush Honey I Washed The Kids Soap (£3.40), I have loved this for years and I really don’t see myself ever getting sick of it. I keep it next to my sink for regular hits of that beautiful fragrance.
The other post-shower spritz in my collection is the R+Co Rockaway Salt Spray (£23), easily one of the best salt sprays I’ve come across – and I’ve tried many! It adds so much wave, shine and texture to my hair, all without the crispy feeling – it’s an essential part of my routine.
As for fragrance, I’ve completely fallen for the Jo Malone White Lilac & Rhubarb Candle (£42) – a gorgeous, light Spring scent that fills my home minutes after burning. The brand donate the money to charity too, so it’s worth picking up – finally a reason to feel guilt-free when buying a costly candle.
My scent of the moment is of course, Chloe Roses De Chloe (£55.50) this is one Spring fragrance I just can’t get enough of – I’m completely hooked on the incredible scent. It’s so much nicer than it sounds, and I might even love it more than the original.
A very full Spring edit! Have you tried any of these?
