A Cleansing Dream Team.

I have a slight cleanser obsession – I’ve always loved skincare, and cleansers are always my favourite products to pick out and swap around when I feel like my skin needs it. At the moment I have quite a few sitting to the right of my sink, on my favourite marble tray…

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel, £28: This stuff is a must buy for anyone, of any age, with any skin type – it’s an absolutely flawless concoction and I use it most evenings to remove makeup and smooth over my skin. The all-natural formula is packed with nutrients to really improve the condition of the skin, while also helping to nourish and clear out pores. It’s one of the best cleansers I’ve come across, and the light gel melts away makeup before transforming in to a milk on contact with water so you don’t get that stripped, parched feeling that gel cleansers usually give. Definitely an (all-natural) brand to check out if you haven’t already experienced the miracle working ways of Oskia.

Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm, £46: Another regularly repurchased favourite of mine is the Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm; this is made using thermal spring waters and mud, and the brand’s own complex with helps the skin recognise all the great ingredients within. It’s a little gritty so you get a very slight polish feeling as you massage it in, but this soon melts in to the skin. It’s a super quick way to remove makeup, and of course it has so many benefits for the face. I think it’s an absolute must for skin that gets clogged, or is prone to oil or blemishes – it’s like a detox in a tub!

Oskia Micro-Exfoliating Balm, £46: This is actually more of a treatment, I tend to use it once per week as a sort of second cleanser. This is a lovely rich balm which has micro exfoliating particles within, ensuring skin is both polished and conditioned with every use. It’s not abrasive, but you can definitely notice a difference with just one use! I just love how luxurious it feels to apply too, I tend to spend a good few minutes massaging it in to the skin before placing a warm, damp face cloth over my face for a few moments and then wiping away the product. My skin is pretty much obsessed with this stuff!

Aurelia Miracle Cleanser, £34: I feel like I talk about Aurelia as a brand almost constantly, but they really do have some brilliant products. I’m on to my second or third tub of this Miracle Cleanser, which says a lot as you really only need a tiny drop of this to remove every trace of makeup. Again, Aurelia are an all-natural brand – they really overload their products with incredible ingredients, this smells so herby and delicious, I just feel like a good person when I use it.
This is actually a lovely cream cleanser, so it’s something to look in to if you’re not big on balms or gels.

NUDE Perfect Cleanse Omega Cleansing Jelly, £32: My latest addition is this new NUDE lovely, an Omega-rich cleansing jelly which sits somewhere between a balm and a gel – I would actually say it feels a lot like the Oskia Renaissance Gel to apply. Another natural brand, I think of NUDE as being the King of cleansers – their products are just flawless! This removes makeup efficiently, taking all traces of impurities with it and leaving my skin feeling like a peach. It turns in to a soft milk when water is added, so again there’s no stripped feeling and my face feels super soft and really cared for.

Have you tried any of these little lovelies?

I keep thinking about trying the Oskia cleanser once my Emma Hardie balm is finished, though I’m also keen on the Omorivicza thermal balm as I do have blemish prone skin. Would you say if it was used every single day it would dry the skin out a bit much? Or is it really nourishing yet deep cleansing? Decisions! I do love a good cleanser though.

  • I haven’t tried any of these but I’ve heard such great things about Oskia and Omorovicza products, I want to check them out. My skin is super sensitive and definitely acne prone so I try to stick to natural or light cleansing products so its overwhelmed when I add strong spot treating products.

  • These all sound super luxe and lovely. I’m currently really liking the La Roche Posay Physiological cleansing gel.
