Four To Try.

IMG_9803

It looks like this may be my last ‘four to try’ post of the year! I’ll be carrying them on to 2015 so don’t panic (not that you were). I’ve got a sort of festive offering here… I guess. There’s glitter anyway, so we’ll run with it.

Essie Stroke Of Brilliance Nail Polish, £7.99
Sigh. Look at that pretty shimmer! The most brilliant moody blue hue as chunks of shimmery glitter. Essie, you really are too good to us!
I have to admit that this isn’t actually all that great when you apply it alone, it works best as a top coat over a silver or inky blue as the shimmer isn’t so thick – you can build it up though, and it totally deserves a place in your collection. Because I said so.

Tweezerman Mini Slant Tweezers, £12.50
I really do not give these bad boys enough credit – in hard times of bushy brows, they really are my rock. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to stop using these for non-beauty related purposes such as picking up spilt sequins and trying to unplug dried glue from my trusty PVA bottle. Not only are these tweezers the cutest little tool to have, they’re also amazing for plucking brows and generally ensuring you’re preened to the max. I want the mint pair, just ‘cos.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Sparkle, £20
I have a feeling I’ve already popped another shade in to one of these ‘four to try’ posts, but this week I’m all about Smokey Topaz – a dreamy silver-flecked rich brown with a hint of mauve. This looks flawless smudged in to the lower lashes or blended all over the lid, they don’t budge and they work as liner or shadow for super defined eyes. Another product everyone should own – and perfect for the festive season too, duh.

Nourish Argan Skin Renew, £25
I’ve really fallen for this Nourish brand, huh? It’s a bit of a good one, and their products are all quite reasonably priced. This little number is a lovely hydrating face cream, it works to rejuvenate, tone and plump the skin while also providing a dose of nourishment to ensure your complexion is feeling and looking lovely throughout the seasons. I use it as a night cream and I always wake up with happy skin!

  • Good reviews – I’m up for anything with Argan oil in it! I find it to be so moisturizing. My favourite for the week would have to be a cult class – Nars Creamy Radiant Concealer (I’m probably getting the order of the words mixed up). It’s my exact shade and perfect for hiding blemishes meaning I don’t have to wear foundation all day everyday.
